My only complaint is that the top carrying handle broke almost as soon as it was used ... it is clear that this was only due to poor workmanship but definitely worth trying before buying ... I would find a physical outlet ahead of using Amazon in future. Worth bearing in mind also is the fact that this carrier does not conform to the majority of airline size requirements. I LOVED THIS CARRIER  On: 2008-07-10I got this carrier as a birthday present in March 08, and thought it was great with the design and the comfort for my dog. I really liked the wheels and now durable they were. It was the perfect carrier for my train ride up north and had the pockets I needed to put my dogs food and stuff in. It had two big windows on the side, and helped my Yorkie get all the ventilation he could possibly need. When I got back from my trip, I thought the clean up would take long, but it was the most easy clean up I could ever hoped for. Everything looked good as new. I definitely recommend this carrier. I also liked how the mesh windows were soft yet protected my yorkie from hurting his teeth and his nails. I had a horrible experiance with one of those Plastic carriers you find at your local pet store, and my puppy hurt his nail with the metal rod. The mesh windows prevents him from that horrible experiance. Fits AA regulation but is poorly designed  On: 2007-12-12I chose this pet carrier because I was looking for a wheeled carrier that fit American Airline regulation. I just received the carrier and I am a bit disappointed at how little the designer thought of the pet when designing this carrier. It looks more like a regular carry on with a couple of side vents. There is no option to roll down the front halfway so my poor dog can stick his head out when I roll the carrier around. I am afraid my dog would get too clausterphobic in this. Its nice to have some pockets for storing some things in it as well - but I would rather not have the pockets and have more vents and more options to open the carrier for my doggies viewing entertainment. I would not recommend this carrier to anyone thinking of using it for a medium sized dog. Unfortunately, its the only one I could find to fit regulation.
