On: 2007-09-01After getting Tendinitis from having my 50lb. lab pulling on the leash, I didnt want to walk her anymore! The DreamWalker is amazing! I love walking her now! I was worried about her safety when I used other "anti-pull" leashes on her, but this one is safe. I feel confident in telling everyone about it! Love it! On: 2007-08-29I have a young, very enthusiastic, happy German Shepherd,and while I love this quality about her, it made it very difficult to walk her/control her when we meet people or other dogs on our walks. I did not want to use a collar that would cause her pain and dampen her exuberance. While I did find the Dreamwalker a bit complicated at first,it was worth figuring out since it helped me control my big strong puppy without causing her pain or damaging her exuberant attitude. This harness really does work! On: 2007-08-27This harness is well worth the time to learn to use it! To say that my dog would pull on the leash is an understatement. Ive tried pinch collars, choke chains, martingales, head collars and other kinds of harnesses. I recently tried it and my dogs response was remarkable! I was in awe, and I still am! I am impressed at how positively she responds to it and how much control I seem to have. The most wonderful thing about it is that it opens up an avenue for clear communication with my dog during our walks. Most importantly, I feel confident that I have a product that is not going to injure or inflict pain on my dog in order for me to communicate with her during our walks. Best of all, I am actually enjoying walking my dog more than ever!! My Dog Pulls NO MORE On: 2007-08-27My dog has a looong history of being a freight train with me on the other end of the leash......I have tried everything from a prong collar to a sensation harness to a gentle leader to a halti...........she still pulled me down the street!!! I always felt guilty with the prong collar, and the others just didnt work. Now, I enjoy walks down the street with her right by my side thanks to the DreamWalker....it is just THE best thing out there that helps me actually WALK my dog instead of running behind her!! And I assume the halter is easy to use, if you can figure it out. Its made a special way so it fits in the small box, and you have to either leave it in the hot sun for 2 days, ( we were having intermittent rain in the hot sun so that was out of the question) or put it in the dryer for 2 minutes. My dryer is the newest one that feels when things are dry, so that didnt work. The heat will make it flexible. Well, since I had no success in making it "loose", I decided it was much easier to walk him with his prong collar, and I returned the halter. Sorry. |
