Unfortunately this didnt help my Pekingese after day 2. She stopped itching for a day and she does have less fleas, but by day 3 shes back to itching constantly. Ive treated the house and that didnt help. I think I just need to go to the Vet and get something that works.

Does the trick, and no horrific odors

Theres at least one other similar product out there that has the most awful, sickly sweet smell. Bearing in mind that dogs sense of smell is thousands of times more sensitive than humans, what must wearing that stuff be like for the poor dogs?

Advantage does have a detectable scent, but its not overpowering or super long-lasting and doesnt affect our allergy-prone family.

We bathe our dogs 1-2 times monthly and apply it on the first of every month, after their baths, and when theyve dried. Even with that second (or 3rd sometimes) per month bath, Advantage keeps on working (if the minimal amount of itching they do is any indication). Weve used it successfully for years.

Works like a dream

I personally do not use it, as I dont have a dog but my aunt swears by it. She saith that it gets rid of all the pasts that the dog can get during its walk.

Fleas Be Gone

This was the first time I had used Advantage Flea Treatment. I found not only was it easy to apply, it did not have a strong chemical odor. The product was applied to our poor dogs who the term "flea bags" fit them all to well. Within 2 days there were no more fleas. The liquid is applied between the shoulder blades, dried quickly, no smell and best of all, killed all the fleas. By the way, the treatment did not stain material when the dogs rubbed up against something.

I bought Advantage for my sisters dog, which is a mix of Maltese and Shih Tzu. I have already been using Advantage for other family dogs with great success over the years. With this particular dog, however, nothing else was working for flea control and the flea problem was only getting worse.

My sister was getting infestation in the carpets as well and her dog was scratching herself raw. Since starting my sisters dog on Advantage, I have seen 100% success with flea control. My sisters dog now lives a healthier, happier life, and looks much better.

Better than Frontline

I love advantage for my little dog. He doesnt like it when I put it on him at first, but it keeps the fleas off him and out of my house. This prices is just right because it comes out to be less than $10 per application.

Worked All Summer Long

This is a really, really Great product. It worked great on my Westie. She is very active outdoors, we walk to parks, trails in the woods, and she has no fleas nor ticks ! It didnt surprise me because she had gotten No Fleas Nor Ticks last Summer either.
Highly recommend it, couldnt recommend it enough for a dog who spends lots of time outdoors.

It works

I wish I could tell how well these flea preventors really work, but all I can tell by is my dogs itching habbits. The other ones are supposed to be better but with Advantage I actually see the dogs itch themselves less, so I can only assume its killing the fleas. It only works for around 3 weeks though.

Great product to kill fleas inmediately

My dog has suffered from fleas reacctions for long time and this product has really helped him in combination with another flea treatment... It really kills the big fleas in 24 hrs...
