Not as cute as some, but AWESOME Quality

When I first started looking for dog houses for my two boy pups, who spend the majority of their time playing outside and more often than not get caught in the frequent Louisiana downpours, I originally wanted something like the Sunbelt dog houses mainly because they were so "cute." I read the horrible reviews they had gotten on construction and sturdiness, and continued looking for "cute" houses. Most of the "cute" houses were either very poorly constructed or way out of my price range since I was buying two.
Right before I tossed in the proverbial towel, I came across this house. There was only the one review, but the features to me became more important than the appearance because, after all, if I were to use them for myself, I would prefer them to be functional rather than good-looking.
The floor drains, the ventilation, the material, and the overall construction of this house sold me, and fortunately they were ridiculously cheap when I purchased them. I bought two of the large size, and received them literally four days later on standard shipping.
Upon arrival, I noticed that not only did they have all of the features as promised, but they are very handsome and cozy-looking in person, and they are HUGE! I probably could have been safe with only purchasing one for both boys (ones 55lbs at 2 years and the other is 50+lbs at 6 months)! It took my boys a little while to get used to the houses, but after about 2 months, these are probably the best houses I could have purchased.
TIP: If you live in a low lying area that floods easily, build a 3 to 6" (depending on how low the ground is) stand or floor for the houses with proper drainage holes, so the houses dont flood. This pretty much goes for any dog house in Louisiana, though.

Outbak Dog House is the BEST!

I bought one of these dog houses years ago and loved the ease of cleaning it. Then I bought several of the big, white, dome-shaped houses... a person needs to use a long handled brush and lean inside to scrub their interior. When I began boarding dogs, I searched to find Outbak, because it can be taken apart from the center, making cleaning an ease. This design of dog house also fits through standard size kennel gates, which can be narrow. I also like that the roof (top) can be removed during the Summer and the dogs bedding placed in the lower half. Dogs enjoy their bed without becoming too warm in an enclosed dog house.
