Happy Puppy

My dog is an 8 month, 46lbs. Canaan Dog. He is growing so fast. I have used this travel kennel before, but in a much smaller size.I found it to be very sturdy and well build. I wanted my pal to have a clean, safe environment that would also give him plenty of space to stay when I can not be at home to let him roam free within my house......this Pet Kennel was the answer.

Not for Air Travel

I bought this kennel. I liked its appearance. And if you want it for your home, its fine. However, I had intended to use it to transport my Golden Retriever across country via air and United Airlines informed me when I checked in that it was not a proper crate. I had to buy one of theirs with bolt closures on the spot. It was lucky I was very early and they had a crate to sell me or I might have missed my flight. So beware. Also, I found the sliding closures, while appearing simple to use, were difficult to line up. I believe these closures are also the reason the airlines will not accept these crates, believing them to be less secure.

I got the 40" for my 95 lb Rottweiler. He had plenty of room to lay down comfortably. It was great to be able to open the door from either side. The door was very easy to open/close.
