Good Product

I purchased this carrier for my 12+ lb cat. Due to a recent illness he has to make several trips to the Veterinarian per month. The product was easy to assemble and is solidly built. The carrier has two openings. Both the top and the front doors open two ways and can be removed all together. The good: the top opening is easy to use and makes taking your pet out or putting your pet in to the carrier very easy (which is less stressful for you and your pet). The bad: the front steel door will not stay connected to the carrier when you open it. I would recommend using the top door exclusively. Overall - a good product that could be improved with a little tweaking.

Great pet carrier!

I purchased this carrier/kennel for my 10 lb. Siamese/Tabby mix cat, who has outgrown her original carrier. It was delivered in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. The feature of having the door open both ways is really nice. It works very easily. I also like being able to open the top panel. It opens two ways, also. Sometimes it is difficult to get a cat out of a carrier at the vet. She tends to go all the way to the back and wont come out on her own. Now we can just open the top and get her easily! This will make a trip to the vet much more pleasant. This carrier seems to be very well made. It has another nice feature: There are plastic clips that attach to the sides to help keep the side sliding, locking tabs from accidentally sliding open. A great idea! I am very happy with this purchase. I also got the gray Midwest Quiet Time 22" x 13" Pet Bed to go in it. It is a great combo!
