your dog will love this

First,let me preface this by saying THIS IS NOT A CHEW TOY! If your dog is an insane, rapacious chewer he will destroy this chicken. If you can control your dog, or your dog understands that this is a squeaky toy to have fun with, then watch out because theyll go crazy.

We got our 3 y/o Dutch Shepherd one of these toys when we were in Canada doing fieldwork (he is a working dog that works with my wife who is a Wildlife Biologist). Our dog went crazy with the squeaking, honking sound and loved his new found chicken friend. At first he chewed a little on it so we taught him not to, and now they last 6 months and are in perfect condition except for the noisemaker inside. We always have to have spares on hand because it has become one of his favorite toys to make noise with. When one dies he gets a brand new one, and he acts the same enthusiastic way as the last one.

Henrietta is making my dog CRAZY!!!

When I first found Henrietta in our local feed & supply store I thought, why not, Karma loves things that make noise. Well, BIG mistake. She immediately took it out of the bag and started honking away. Actually, I dont know who liked it more, her or my husband. Anyway, were on #3 now and have a spare hidden away. Thanks for the entertainment.

Good toy for fetch and the water

I got this toy for my dog and find she quite likes the shape of it for fetch. Because it is filled with air it is great for the water since it floats and is big enough that my dog can see it floating on the water since it is bigger than a ball. I dont leave it with my dog unsupervised since I dont consider it a chew toy. If you want a chew toy probably isnt it, but this is great for fetch and play time.

NOT FOR HEAVY CHEWERS!!!

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THIS TOY WITH YOUR DOG UNSUPERVISED!
We gave our Silky Terrier this toy. He weighs 12 pounds and he was very excited and loved the toy. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS, 45 seconds after we gave it to him he Chewed the Foot OFF!! This toy is not very durable and easy to chew through. Im not buying anymore dog toys online! I am buying from the pet store!
I DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD BUY THIS TOY UNLESS YOUR DOG HAS NO TEETH OR DOES NOT LIKE TO CHEW!
