It held enough food for 3 solid days with at least enough room for 4 more days on top of that. The velcro almost seals up the whole top, so some food does spill out if its turned upside down, but the buckle alleviates a lot of that problem. Very sturdy material. I travel frequently to dog trials and also weekend trips to the lake. These food sacks are great! As you use the contents, you roll it to a smaller and smaller bundle.
