On: 2008-10-17We take these with us everywhere we go with the dogs. They get thirsty a lot when traveling, so it is so convenient to pour a bottle of water into travel bag. Its perfect great item On: 2008-08-04The water bowl was exactly as I had hoped. Its large enough for a large dog, but can be turned downed to make a smaller animal able to drink from it. Its attractive and light-weight and good for traveling, biking or hiking. The shipping was really quick, too. Great travel bowl for dogs On: 2008-03-23This turns out to be a great accessory for dog owners who take their dogs on road trips. Its indispensable for long trips, and very convenient for impromptu trips where a bottle of water and this bowl mean the difference between a happy or unhappy dog. I keep one of these and a water bottle in the trunk all the time as a just in case and use it frequently for planned trips where my two dogs share it. Its a decent size for most dogs, mine are 40 lbs or so each and seem to find it to be perfect. I havent used it for food, as water seems to be the most desired item for dogs on the road. The bowl folds up easy and takes up no appreciable room - it fits in a map pocket easily. Definitely recommended for dog owners. Bow wow WOW! On: 2008-03-03If you travel with your pup, this is a must have! From quick day hikes to week long vacations, these folding bowls are durable, easy to use, to store, and to look at -- super cute! I own the matching travel bag, too. Good travel bowl  On: 2008-02-15I have a 56 pound dog and this "small" bowl is the perfect size for his food or water...dont be fooled by the word small. So far this has worked well for trips to the beach and for hiking. Doesn't stand up by itself  On: 2007-11-27I purchased several of these water bowls for when I travel with my dog. Unfortunately, the walls collapse causing water to go everywhere. Not a good design. Was really too big for it's purpose  On: 2007-08-05If you have a really big dog with a big head this bowl may be just right. However, we bought this bowl to provide our medium size dog with the ability to get a drink of water where there might not be other water sources around while we are hiking or out and about. The bowl is HUGE which meant that just to get a 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the bowl for our dog to get a drink seemed like it would require a whole quart. Probably not, but it seemed that way. We bought a less expensive bowl which was much smaller and is perfect. Hope this helps. |
