Best toothbrush for cats     On: 2008-07-15

Yes, it sounds crazy, but it is indeed possible to brush a cats teeth. This CET toothbrush has a small, angled head, which makes it easier to reach the back teeth, where most of the tartar builds. Combined with the CET toothpaste (my cats like the poultry flavor), using the toothbrush regularly has helped reduce the frequency that we need to go in for dental cleaning at the vet. Plus, it prevents the bad breath that a lot of other cats have.

Ive tried different types of toothbrushes over the years, including the type that fits over your finger (sorry, but rubber bristles just dont make the grade) and childrens toothbrushes. But the CET toothbrush remains the easiest to use. I just wish it were a little cheaper.

Excellent toothbrush, the smaller head is easier to use.
Ive tried other brushes that were simply so large they were difficult to use and uncomfortable for my dogs.
What a difference 5 minutes 2 or 3 days a week can make.
My older dog is 14 but her age could not be judged by the appearance of her teeth.
