Flexi Classic 3 Retractable Tape Leash     On: 2008-12-02

Bought this "tape" leash about a month ago to replace previous "cord" type leash.

Pros: smooth, quiet operation compared to the cord type. Feels very durable and sturdy for my 22lbs jrt(very energetic little dog)

Cons: a little heavy, and I wish the opening for the leash could be further away from the handle for better balance.

Overall its a satisfactory purchase.
Wrong description     On: 2008-10-19

These leashes are amazing! Unfortunately, I was looking for the cord leash and not the tape leash. The seller had it listed as a cord leash when in fact it was a tape leash. The seller responded to all my e-mails in resolving the issue and sent a return postage paid envelope to return the product for a full refund since they didnt have the leash I wanted. So, even though it was a bummer not to get the product I wanted, I was impressed with how the seller resolved the issue.
Great leash     On: 2008-03-31

Great retractable as it doesnt get stuck, retracts smoothly and doesnt give you rope burn if the leash happens to graze your leg. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends.
Great Leash at the Right Price!     On: 2008-03-03

Thanks Amazon for selling the Flexi Classic 3 at a reasonable price! All our local retailers were asking $35++ for the exact same item. Who pays $50 for these things? Not me! The leash is well built and perfect for our 70lb Lab.
More Freedom for dog     On: 2008-02-10

I was a little nervous to use this retractable type leash after reading the warnings all over the packaging and the insert. Things like burning or cutting your skin if this thing snaps back on you. So when I tried it I was pretty cautious, but I soon got the hang of it. I did find that my dog got it wrapped around his legs several times..dont know if that was my fault or not. In the beginning, the lock was hard to engage.
I did like that my dog had more room to roam and was not pulling me as much because of this. By the way, I have a 9 month old Golden Retriever named Jack. In his opinion, no leash is a good leash.
Broke in 6 months     On: 2008-01-28

The tape on this item broke in 6 months. Considering the cost, Ill stick with a rope.
Great leash for walking your dog, but a little pricey...     On: 2007-09-25

This really lets your dog enjoy his freedom, but it really is a little pricey...
All Tape Retractables are SO MUCH better!     On: 2007-07-25

Since we are NYC apartment dwellers we walk our Catahoula three times a day, minimum. If you have ever run into other doggy friends and had those string-type leashes get all twisted up together you will truly appreciate having a nice soft cloth tape to grab instead of string. I thought it would be thicker since its for dogs up to 110 lbs but seems to be holding up well.
