Not great/Not terrible

I watched these until they dropped to 1/2 of their original price and I am glad I did. I would be unhappy if I had paid the full retail.

However, for the $6 I paid, these are pretty good clippers. I prefer the guillotine style. I have 4 cats, but this is perfect for dogs, as well.

Although I agree with the first reviewer that the light is not very useful, I didnt have trouble keeping it one, or feel the it wasnt the proper length. I think it is just a bit cumbersome and takes some practice. Or you can do as I did, and have DH remove that little screw that holds it on and tadah...no light problems. And since I didnt pay anymore than I would have for clippers sans the light, then it works out well for me.

Useless Light

While "guillotine" style clippers are great, the light is difficult to turn on and when it does come on, varies in brightness while in use. The bendable light just doesnt seem long enough to get close enough to the nail to see through and seems more in the way.
