  AKC Outdoor Raccoon (Large) Average Rating: 1.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information Disappointment  On: 2008-08-02The seller was not particularly helpful in helping to replace the toy after the "spinal seam" came undone... due to a too small knot in the stitching which pulled through the fabric when the dog bit the toy to make it squeak. This occurred in the first 30 minutes of the toy being presented to a gentle dog. I emailed Jakks, the distributor, who promised to send me a replacement. That was three weeks ago... Im still waiting. Id choose another manufacturer and supplier... even though AKC recommends this toy. almost too cute to be a dog toy...  On: 2007-08-28Despite the label of "large", this little guy measures 14" head-to-tail and 7" tall at the head, which makes him more of a raccoon cub. He comes with a worried expression and a built in high-pitched "squeaker". It was only after he arrived that I realized he was designed to be a dog toy. We granted him refugee status and he now lives safely in my spare room. He seems sturdily made, of soft materials, and seems safe for both children and playful dogs. |
