On: 2008-09-12This is a great car seat for my yorkie and she loves being able to see out the window easily and lie down whenever she wants. The only problem, that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating, is that the legs collapse because of the raised area on either side of the passenger seat. It would be better if the legs could be locked more securely in place, but dont let that keep you from purchasing this......love it! Thanks. okay, but has some problems  On: 2008-06-21the seat is basically a booster seat, but for very small dogs only! anything over say, 25 or 30 lbs will not fit in it comfortably. also, the sheepskin-like pad on top slides all over the plastic base underneath it. so your dog ends up sliding all over the place whenever you turn a corner or stop. i wouldnt buy this again. Puppy Love  On: 2008-04-02My dog(s) LOVE this car seat. I have one (large-12 pound) Chihuahua and one (tiny-10 pound) Boston Terrier. They both love being able to see out of the windows, and when you run the seatbelt in the back seat like you would a childs car seat, I have no issue with the legs being un-sturdy. My chihuahua even sat in this seat for 4 days as my husband and I moved across the country from NV to VA. In fact, if I take the seats out of the car for whatever reason, they will both lay on top of the seat and beg to go for a ride. My only qualm is with the water/food dish. It doesnt easily attach to anything. But I see no purpose in it, so I recycled it. Puppies can see out the car windows On: 2008-02-18This product was pretty much what it said it would be. Maybe not as sturdy as I would have liked, but it does the trick. My puppies can see out the car windows and they stay put, which is a must for me. Would recommend for a small dog. They are very unstrudy! Also the "convenient" food and water bowel didnt easily attach. Last, but not least the the side straps are confusing to assemble to my pets harness. I had to email the company to get better instructions, because the info that came with the product was so vague. It's a Piece! Save Your Money! On: 2007-07-13Where do I begin?! I had to email the company to get better instructions, because the info that came with the product was so vague. Pet seat isn't just for dogs On: 2007-05-12We bought this seat for our cats. We put harnesses on them and can attach them to the clips on the seat for safety. We found the cats do not complain at all or get car sick when traveling in this open concept, and they like being elevated and looking out the window. When not being used in the car, the cats like to use them for sitting/sleeping in the house - keeps them off the furniture! Get it a try! |
