On: 2008-10-10I just received this for my kitties.I have a kitty in her Golden years and starting to slow down a bit,diagnosed with hypothyroidism and djd.I bought this hoping it would attract her to drink more water. I immediately washed the kit thoroughly,put it together(easy),filled it up.In about 5 minutes,we had an inviting fresh crisp clean waterfall.I cant tell you how happy I am.She immediately was drawn to it,sat next to the fountain,and away she went,lapping on the spout.Everytime I walk in the kitchen,shes enjoying her hydration.Thank God 4this awesome clean healthy and lets not forget decorative fountain. My animals love it. On: 2008-06-09My cat and dog love their new water fountain. I as their parent love it too, because with the 70 oz. resivor you dont have to fill it often. To clean it is a breeze as well. Amazon, thanks for offering this item. Awesome - a must for cat owners On: 2008-03-07I have two picky Himalayans and this fountain is perfect for them. I have a cute little stone water fountain and they were always trying to drink from it and they also like drinking from the faucets. I tried the Freshflow model and they didnt go for it. When I found this, I was thrilled. They love it and I love no longer having cat fur in my sink. They still like to play in my water fountain but they dont drink from it. Love the sound of tinkling water as background noise in the house and the pink color. A bit of a pain to clean but well worth it to avoid changing the water bowl twice daily. Great for little dogs too but get the resevoir for sure. Makes a great community watering hole for my bunch. Drinkwell Pet Fountain On: 2008-01-24I love this product but more importantly, so do my cats! The first day, both my cats were a little scared of it but they quickly got used to it since they normally chose to drink from the leaky bathroom faucet rather than from their regular bowl anyway. I think all three of us appreciate that the water stays colder and much cleaner than in a normal bowl. I cant see ever going back to their old bowls again! Should have bought it sooner....... On: 2007-12-09A must-have item for pet owners! No more stagnant water in a bowl you have to change or refill often. I have 6 cats and have to fill the 70 oz. reservoir every 3 days now and clean every 2 weeks. Be sure to get the reservoir because it allows you to monitor usage (and refill time) easily. The motor is quiet and it only took a few days for my cats to start using it regularly and most drink from the fountain. One of my cats has had chronic urinary problems and since I purchased this fountain, he has been drinking more water and has not had any problems. cat waterer On: 2007-12-07yeah!!!!!!!!!! finally something my cats and i both love that doesnt leave a mess all over the floor. my cats are drinking more water now so are healthier. well made and easy to assemble. thanks!!! Fabulous! On: 2007-11-27I bought this product because my 2 cats had a water resevoir, but it didnt filter. The cleaning was tedious, and very often. They always ran to the dog bowl to drink. So I thought Id get this to spoil them a bit. As soon as I plugged this system in, they ran to it! I honestly see them drinking more often, and sometimes even playing with the water stream! Its quiet too, and I love the water flow feature that allows me to change the flow from low to high! You still have to keep this clean, but its MUCH easier! I HIGHLY recommend this product - money well spent! love it On: 2007-10-25my cat is a big fountain drinker. she doesnt like water that dribbles or flows out of something. it has to come out like a faucet. she took to it well and is drinking alot more water than normal. shell still go back to her old habits buts thats once in a while. the parts are easy to clean too! I have 2 cats that are both very picky about the water they drink and this fountain has helped so much! although they will drink from a bowl they both prefer to drink from the faucet, something about the running water I guess. Since the fountain has a constant stream of running water its perfect. I know longer have to chase cats off a counter when they hear running water!
