This product actually does exactly what it they say it will do. I have a white Havanese dog who had a real problem with tear stains. In about three weeks the red tear stains were almost gone. In six weeks, they were completely gone. My dog doesnt mind the taste at all, as long as it is mixed with some wet food. Im extremely happy with the product. Its a bit pricey, but it definitely does the job.

I tried twice a day cleaning with shampoo, I also tried cotton balls with peroxide (which does lighten hair/bleach stains, but it dries out the hair making it prone to breakage and can be a slight irritant...it stings a little if it makes it to the skin level--try it on your own skin, near your face..it can sting, and my dog disliked it.) I started using Angel Eyes and noticed a change the very next day. Although the hair is still stained, the "wet, brown hair" was not there anymore. The hair is looking better each day, but of course you have to grow out your stained hair or cut the old stains off. But basically the tearing is gone, and so her face looks really good. Neighbors and friends have noticed.

My maltese is 9 pounds, and I believe it says 1/2 a teaspoon for up to 8 pounds, and 3/4 tsp for 9-13, or something like that, and I didnt want to fool with "3/4 tsp" so I am just using 1/2 a teaspoon, which is a low dose for her, but it is working fine. I put it on any type of moist food and she eats it immediately. I have not seen any ill effects. I am looking forward to decreasing the dose, so that the minimal amount is taken.

The price on Amazon is the best Ive found. It was twice the amount at the retail store I found it in. The groom shop said they could not keep it stocked, as it flies off the shelf (at twice the price) so obviously it is effective. I do recommend it.

This is great stuff, if you can get it down them! I wish they would make it in a pill form. My Bichon will not eat her food if this is in it, and I cant even imagine putting it in the water. Peanut butter was okay- but the best mixer for this is almond butter. For some reason, she loves it and its not as thick or sticky as peanut butter. I dont even have to use much, about even amounts of each.

As for the product, it really works! Its not just the yucky staining that is the problem, but the constant wetness on her face that had to be uncomfortable for her. Smelly too, but it all disappears after a few weeks on this product. The stains have to be grown out, but once its clipped away the fur is pure white- and dry! Five stars for results, but minus one for the nasty taste/texture.

Angel eyes started working on my dogs eyes after only a week or so. ive been using it for a month now and they are getting better and better. the only bad thing about it is that it is powder and has a bitter taste so my dog wont eat it unless i really mix it with human food. He eats dry food so it wont mix in with that. Other than that, it is a great product so far....

I was skeptical that anything would remove tear stains. I had tried many other products that were wiped on. Since this is put in the food, its entirely different. After daily use in the beginning, I am now down to about twice a week and still no tear stains. This is working on all three dogs that are on it.

Wow, Terrific product...My 16 year old Bichon Frisees eyes have never looked better ..As he got older the staining became worse but within the first week of using Angels Eyes the staining dramatically disappeared. I sprinkled it over his dry food. I am sure it works better if mixed with wet but I still had great results.

My Yorkie dog has had severely stained eyes since puppyhood, and she is only 3 years old now. I have tried many things to get rid of the tearing and stains. My dog has been to the vet, and to vet eye specialists to make sure she has no eye disease. Even though they detected no eye problem, they couldnt help with her tearing problem. Angel Eyes works great for my dog. During the first week of trying this product, my dogs eyes were improving! Her eyes look good now, with no tearing or brown staining. Angel eyes has helped the staining on our dog (who is completely white). The stained fur is still there but much lighter. Were having the groomer cut all of the stained fur out in two weeks when we go. We arent seeing any new colored drainage. Weve used this product for a month now and are about to order more. Would recommend this product. Very easy to use. Dog doesnt mind the taste of it on his egg.

I tried the 120 gram bottle of Angel Eyes for my two white dogs and continued to use it until it was gone. Neither of the dogs liked the taste of it in their food even though I camoflaged it and I had a real battle getting them to eat. Also the problem with their eyes has not cleared up as anticipated. As a result I was very disappointed especially since the product is not cheap.

My coton de tulear developed horrible tear staining when he was about 5 months old. I purchased Angels Eyes and within a month my puppys stains were completely gone. My pup is now 10 months old and remains completely tear stain free. One suggestion- follow the dosing and frequency directions on the bottle! At first you will have to give it every day, but over time you can reduce to 2-3 times per week and keep the results.

This product is great and my dogs eyes improved dramatically after 3 weeks. However, he really hates the liver smell and doesnt want to eat his food anymore. I have to try mixing it in wet dogfood but now he leaves a lot in his bowl - which never happened before. I need the product in pill form!

I have three Maltese dogs (all white, of course). My oldest girl always tearstained a little but that never bothered me until she started having chronic health problems from severe allergies and too much yeast production in her system. Our vet recommended Angel Eyes (along with allergy medication) to solve her problems and the results have been miraculous. All of her skins problems related to yeast production have disappeared completely, she is not longer itching and uncomfortable, and her eyes and coat look amazing. This is a great product.

I have been using Angel Eyes on my Lhasa Apso dog for a little over a year. She has a white face and had developed rust colored stains on either side of her nose. My groomer recommended this product to me. It has taken a little over a year to get rid of the rust stains,but once again her beautiful little white face is back. Its so easy to use as you just sprinkle it on the food. Puffy likes it!

We have a Bichon Frise as a member of our family. I have tried numerous products without success (predominantly topical). When I saw the manufacturers website, I saw hope for my brown tear stained dogs face.

I ordered the product and it came in a well insulated package. This product is a powdered form of dried liver. It smells ok and when my dog sniffed it, he ate it right away. It is too thick like chocolate milk to put it into water.

After a week, I wondered if it would ever work. After two weeks there was a 50% reduction. By week 3, I was reassured that the product was working well. By week 4, the tear stains were practically resolved. Beard and tear stains resolved after about a month of use.

I was told it works secondary to a low level antibiotic.

This product works better than ANYTHING in the market.

This product works and the money was worth every penny. I highly recommend this product.

Too Hard to dose and too expensive!     On: 2008-10-20

I found that Angel Eyes was very difficult to give my 15 Lb Pekapoo. He did not like the dry powdered liver unless I mixed it with a wet dog food. It was also very expensive.
Upon reading the label the active ingredient is Tylan (or Tylosin). More research led to the dosage from the manufactures web site. "Tylosin: can, fel-5-10 mg/kg PO BID (up to 40 mg/kg PO BID for chronic colitis.".
Also available on Amazon - Tylan Soluble Powder 100 gram.
We used the minimum dose which works out to be about 1/2 of a Smidgen measuring spoon and pour it on a piece of Liverwurst or Braunschweiger - this helps to mask the bitter flavor of Tylan. We used it for 3 weeks daily and then once per week thereafter as maintenance dose. A 100 Gram Bottle should give you enough for over 3 years of doses. Ours is 2 years past the expiration and has stopped working so I am ordering another bottle.

We have been using it for over 2 1/2 years with no adverse effects noticed.

It seems ashame to dose pets with an unknown amount of an antibiotic. This helps develope antibiotic resistant organisms. I dont know if it works or not. My vets advice was " accept it as part of your pet. I f you are not going to show, just get used to it. keep her eyes clean and the hair around the eyes short to cut down on fungus and skin irritation cause by constant damp hair.

This is a safe and effective product. It must be used in accordance with the instructions and frequent cleaning of the eye area and you will have a dog with no tear stains. This really does the trick!! Try it.

I dont know how it works but work it does. Our bulldog was developing what appeared to be permanent stains. Even diligent wiping couldnt prevent a darkening area on his otherwise white fur. But after a few weeks of Angels Eyes, the stains are gone. And he likes the taste of it so no problem with getting him to eat it as part of dinner. This is good stuff.

While the product does work, be aware that Tylosin is actually a low grade antibiotic. After 2 weeks of use, both my Bichons developed diarhea - and that is when I discovered what Tylosin really is. Use of a daily antibiotic can kill the "good" intestinal bacteria and cause other problems. If you are planning on using this product, consult your veternarian first and use with caution!

Purchased Angel Eyes after speaking with a groomer. My vet knew of nothing that would get rid of the tear stains. Petsmart groomers said to just wipe daily with a mild soap, which didnt work. Anyway priced Angel Eyes in pet store and almost had a heart attack! lol Went on line and found it at a reasonable price, ordered it, and in less than a week began using it on my toy poodle and toy maltipoo. It works! Give it a try and see if it works for your pet.

I cant really write much of a review on whether the product works or not. It smells so bad I have to disguise it in something to get the dog to eat it. Usually try to get the powder into some cheese or meat in order for her to swallow it. Sprinkling it on the food is just a waste of food because she wont get near it. My sister told me about angel eyes and how good it was. I am amazed at how wonderfully this product works. I have a new bichon pup and I cant stand the tear stains that this breed has. After a month of using the angel eyes it is almost completely gone. I expect with continued use tear staining is not going to be a huge issue. I saw this advertised but did not have any prior knowledge of its existence. We have a white bichon frise who is adorable except the brown stains under his eyes and on his mustache were a distraction. I ordered this with some skeptism but decided it would not hurt to try. The results are simply amazing - within two weeks and one trip to the groomer to cut off stained hair the stains have NEVER reappeared -- we have been using this close to six months. One third teaspon sprinkled on his food once a day will do the trick -- you should try this incredible product.

It has been 7 weeks since starting my 1 yr old cream colored havanese dog(member of Bichon family)on Angel Eyes. I was skeptical at first because I had tried many suggestions to rid my beautiful dog of those unsightly stains! You must be patient and use everyday for it to work. After 3 weeks I started to see less staining. I carefully snipped the discolored hair away as time went on. Now after 7 weeks it is 90% gone! I mix it with aprox. 1 Tbs.of cream cheese and heat for 10 sec. in microwave. I have heard peanut butter works as well but my dog turned her nose up at that! The directions say mix with their food but she grazes on her dry food all day so that wouldnt work. Amazon.com has the best price I have found. Give it a try!

If you bought beef liver treats and crushed them up, you would have this product. It is not healthy to give too much of this to your dog. Search for freeze dried beef liver treats for dogs. Any pet store will have them as well. You will pay a fraction of the price for many times more actual product.

Angle eyes is rather expensive but a product that works. We have been using it,as instructed, on our 15 pound white bichon. He had a very noticible tear drip from both eyes that was so severe people stared at them first not the whole cutsie dog.

Angels Eyes has the fewest ingredients of other stain eliminators for ingestion. I like the idea of the purest form of a food additive possible to help keep staining away. Beetje likes it, too! The 120 gram bottle lasts several months for Beetje who is 8 pounds; I use 1/4 teaspoon a few times a week. Thats all it takes. Her eyes and feet are white, and stay stain free. I do recommend this product. No affiliation.

i feed my white persian kitten dry food all the time. so when i bought this product i started feeding her wet food once a day to mix the powder with. i dont feed her the whole can just half. anyhow, she loved it and ate it like crazy. i could tell the powder started to work after about 2 days and i was sooo happy!!! but.....

i made the mistake one day to let her SEE me mix the powder in her food... after this, she WILL NOT eat the powder in dry or wet food... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! i read the reviews that say put it in peanut butter but i think thats for dogs, a cat is a very picky eater and will not eat peanut butter...

any advice or anyone with the same problem??????
Give It a Few Weeks--it works!     On: 2008-08-25

After trying topical cleaners on my Bichon/Poodle mix, with no results, I tried Angels Eyes. After several weeks, the staining stopped. After the hair grew out, and was trimmed, she looked snow white! Weve begun the maintenance doses, so the bottle lasts longer. She gets just a tiny bit of non-staining "crust" by her eyes. It wipes off. She doesnt squint anymore either. I sprinkle it on her kibble and and she seems to like the taste. I highly recommend this product! I was skeptical, but it WORKS!

Excellent product. My dogs are extremely picky eaters and would only consume the powder by itself, not mixed into anything. Cleared up both dogs using one container (this size) and the yeast has yet to return one year later. Id call that a cure! Very nice to have clean white faces.

Angel Eyes may be a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Ive paid less for eye stain removal products, but they didnt work, so it was like throwing away money. Angel Eyes does the job. Some people complained that their dogs disliked the taste. I followed a suggestion that another customer made and added it to small meat balls that I just slipped into the microwave. After Sadie got use to the taste, I can now put it on anything she eats. (Thanks to this site, I got a great suggestion). After the eye stains were gone, I was able to drop the dosage down to once a week to keep her clear. If I notice the stains reappearing, I just increase the dosage. Thanks Angel Eyes for making my little Sadie even more beautiful.

Ive used this product on my Bichon puppy for about nine months. I have seen a significant decrease in staining, but it still continues. I groom him every day and wash the stains with "Crystal Eye" a mild shampoo. I also clip the stained hair when it gets long enough. He looks a lot better.

This product works just like it says. I use it on my Maltese and Bichon and they look so much better without those nasty eye stains. I just mix it in their food once a day. So much easier than trying to fight them to clean the nasty stuff off their eyes, which never seems to clean them anyway.

Good product. Tried one bottle to see if it worked and when we ran out his red tear stains came back so fast that I knew it definitely worked well. Would reccomend to any dog owner to use safely if there dog has this tear stain problem. My bulldog Buster doesnt mind the taste at all, I sprinkle the powder on his dry kibble then add some warm water to mix and he gobbles it up.

I gave my 9 month old Maltese this. He started having really bad diarrhea which turned into violent vomiting. He nearly vomited his entire body size. I had to take him to the emergency room on Super Bowl Sunday. $250 dollars and an IV later, my dog was almost back to normal. This stuff is AWFUL!!

Our Maltese was a rescue and came to us in pretty bad shape. This product did help restore his fur to a nice, white color. Some of the reviews I read on-line said the pet didnt like the taste and would not eat the food with the Angel Eyes on it, but we did not have that problem. He sniffed it at first, but now hes used to it.

I was skeptical at first, but after 2 weeks of sprinkling about 1/2 tsp on my dogs food, I noticed that the dark staining and matting was very, very minimal. I have a cream colored maltipoo and before I started using Angel Eyes she had those awful brownish red stains running down from her eyes and around her mouth. Angels Eyes did not help the tear stains on my Maltese. When I got him at four months old, he had a little bit of staining, but nothing terrible. Once he started teething about a month later, it got really bad. I spent $60 on the Angel eyes because the reviews on here were good, and the breeder recommended it as well. I followed the instructions verbatim for three months, and nothing happened. It was a total waste of money, and I found out a secret from my groomer who agreed Angel Eyes is garbage. Dilute Hydrogen Peroxide with water, and rub it with a cotton ball on the tear stains. Then put a little vasoline on the spot so the tears roll off the fur, and do not settle in. I do it once in the morning and once at night, and his tear stains are completely gone. It also helps to keep the hair by the eyes short and clean. BOTTOM LINE, this product is not healthy to use long term(according to my dogs vet) and there are other more cost-effective alternatives available (the bottle of Peroxide was 75 cents at the drugstore!).

Although this product was expensive, the reviews were great so we thought we should give it a try. After 3 months I see no improvement at all. Sure, if you cut off the stained hair the new hair is lighter - for awhile- and then the stains come back even while continuing Angel Eyes. I have a 9 month Maltese, and we even took her to the vet to make sure she didnt have an infection or other problem that was causing the problem and he assured us that she didnt.

Nope, I wouldnt waste any more money on this product.

I have a shih tzu and her white face was always stained brown from her tears and saliva. I can not believe the difference with the angels eyes. Ive tried all kinds of shampoos and nothing worked. This is a bit pricey...but if you could see the difference in my dog, even people who come to my house notice.
The one thing I will say is you have to give it time. It was a good month or two before we saw the marked difference. I wish I had taken a before and after picture! Weve been using it now for about 6 months and we will continue, it really does work.

The fur around his eyes is white now--which it had NEVER been before--even when I first got him as a 10-week old puppy. I bought this for my Tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, when I bought him at 12 weeks of age, he had noticeable tear stains, his coat as I said is tri-color, but underneath his eyes is white, so the tear stains were a reddish brown in color and it caused distractions in the beauty of his face. I was desperate to get my white toy poodles stained eyes to stay away. He was so cute except for these ugly stains around his eyes. He had stains so bad, kids on the street always asked me what was wrong with his eyes. I purchased different products but it was always a waste of money. I had purchase this product for my dog a while ago and it seemed to work on eliminating the tear stains on his white fur. The second and third bottle that I purchased didnt seem to work at all. I have a white Shih Tzu that came to me with tear stains all the way down into her "beard". I tried wipes and topical liquids with no success. I bought this for my Shih Tzu and my mother purchased for her 5 white Persian cats. My dog refused to eat it - even when I mixed 1/2 the dose in canned food with gravy. This is something he has never refused to eat when I have mixed vitamins, oil for his coat, etc. into it.

As it turns out, this was a good thing. Only 2 of Moms cats would even taste it (after smelling it) and they both got sick and threw it back up!

I dont know where the good reviews of this product come from, but something about this product turns off both cats and dogs - only to get sick if they get by the smell!

I would NOT recommend you do this to your babies.

Angel Eyes is a bit strong for my dogs taste. The directions call for 3/4 of a teaspoon added to food but the smell is overwhelming. We have decreased the dosage to 1/4 of a teaspoon once a day and the dog no longer notices the smell of the product. She eats her food without any reaction to the Angel Eyes powder. Her eye stains have definitely improved. Since she is a white cockapoo the stains were very noticeable. Now she is nearly stain free and she looks well-groomed. We have tried a number of other liquid products to cleanse the stains without seeing any improvement. Now with Angel Eyes she is nearly 100% stain free, even with the decreased dosage. By far the best product that we have tried.

I have been using Angel Eyes for about 2 months now and I am amazed at the difference. I have a 1 1/2 year old Maltese who has problems with his eyes and we have tried many products to no avail. My vet mentioned this product and we have had no red staining since. This product works wonders. I have two maltese, both of which have extremely bad tear stains. My two year old maltese had a clean white face when we bought him, but after only a few days, ugly brown stains showed up on his face. I tried Eye Envy (you had to actually clean their face with some herbal smelling green liquid, then put powder on their face) but that was too much work with very little change. I used tear stain cleaners from PetCo etc. but those only helped lighten the tear stains, and only after you washed their face. Leave it alone for a few days and they were back. Finally, after endless searching, I found the website for Angels Eyes and decided to try it. It is a powder that you just sprinkle on their food (I use it with soft food) and it WORKS! Just after three days, I noticed a change. Now, both of my dogs are tear stain free, and after a while, you can start lowering the dosage so you dont go through so many bottles. It is a bit pricey, but the price I found here was a deal. About $40 for a 120 gram bottle... cheapest Ive found for such a great product.

I have a Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, and Pekingese. I bought a 15oz bottle because I wasnt sure about paying so much on an item that might not work. I took the bottle to my vet and asked him whether this would work or not. He told me that he has tested the product and does not see any harm in it. He said it contains a little amount of natural antibiotics. He said each dog is different and he has seen a lot of good results.
My female Shih Tzu was 3 months old when we started her on it and we saw results within a month. I lowered her dosage to 4 times a week after 2 months because the results were amazing. Her eyes are clear and so is the area around her mouth.
My Lhasa Apso is 3 years old and it took close to 3 months before we saw any results around his eyes and mouth.
My Pekingese is 6 years old and we only saw results around his eyes after 3 months. There really hasnt been any improvement around his mouth.
I recommend everyone try this product out. As stated each dog is different so the results will vary.

In reading reviews on Angel Eyes my concern was that it made some dogs sick, so I got my Vets OK then followed a reviewers suggestion of incorporating the product into little meatballs. I made a months supply by measuring Angel Eyes into lean ground turkey calculating the number of small meatballs to get the appropriate dosage. (I used one dosage less than recommended on the bottle). I blended it well, baked them and refrigerated a weeks supply, freezing the rest. My bichon loves getting 1 a day as a treat, and the tear stains stopped almost immediately. Although she has a sensitive tummy, there has been no vomiting. I look forward to reducing the dosage eventually to only 2/wk. Great product because it really works!

We tried Angels eyes for our all white and fluffy Maltese puppy because she was so adorable and cute, but her tear stains were terrible. It definately improved the staining. I ran out of Angels eyes and did not reorder right away, not sure of how much it had really helped, and it amazed me how much worse the staining got.

We are back on Angels eyes now and they do seem better, but not gone completely. I am hoping with continued use they will get better and better.

A while ago I received a powder from my groomer that eliminated eye stain - it worked so well but they charged $20 for a 2 week supply. I have been searching for something similar. I bought this product in hopes that it would work in a similar way. The product was a bit pricy and when I got the jar I thought it would not last long. But that is not the case. You use so little of it each time that it lasts for a very long time --- and its worth every penny. My Maltese is so adorable but has the brown drainage coming from her eyes which has stained the hair on her face. I started using Angels Eyes and within a week her eyes began to clear up. It has been about a month since I have been using it and the difference in her eyes and facial hair is amazing. I had her groomed and they removed all of the stained hair. Now her whole face stays white and always looks clean. Buy this product if you have this problem - you will not regret it.

This is an amazing product. My white cockapoo had ugly dark heavy tear stains that I could not wash off. I have used this product for a month now. Her hair has grown out enough that I have been able to cut away all the old stains. She now has a beautiful white face. You have to use it every day on their food. I am completely impressed with the Angel Eyes product. I have 2 dogs, a Pekingese and a Pekapoo. I sprinkled a teaspoon of Angel Eyes in each one of my dogs food bowl daily starting on 01/10/08 and I saw results within two weeks. I am still using the Angel Eyes daily, as indicated on the bottle. I would strongly recommend this product to any one who has a dog with tear stained eyes. Take it from me, I have used several other tear stain products- some were very messy, while others could cause damage to the pets eyes if you were not careful.

I purchased this product for my 2 year old Pomeranian. Naturally, I was a bit skeptical. Ive been using the product for about 2 months now.
WOW, we started noticing a drastic decrease in tears within a couple of days. It just got better and better and does appear to be working! Pomeranians are notorious for always being teary and the stains that trailed down to his cheeks are practically completely gone. He might have a little bit of salt looking crusty here and there but just in the corners of his eyes, about like when we wake up after a little sandman visit, but that is really it. I give him the recommended dose on the bottle and so far its been working great and he does not even seem to notice it sprinkled in his food. I am very happy with the results and will continue to use it as suggested. Fighting with him to let me wipe around the eye area with the tear stain removal liquids was a pain, sprinkling a little Angels Eyes once a day on his food is a pleasure. Ive been putting this powder on my bichon frises food for a few months now, skipping a few days here and there, and really only a little bit of powder (since its so expensive), and its made a HUGE difference in his appearance! I am very, very pleased with this product, it really does work and his face is now almost completely white. No more ugly brown stains all over his beard! This product really does work! We have a 10 mo. old shihtzu/bichon cross puppy who had terrible tear stains. A friend of mine told me about this product as they have a shihtzu puppy. I originally bought the small size bottle because I figured that if Oscar didnt like it, we wouldnt be out much money. However, I dont think he even notices that its on his food in the morning! (Ive heard that some dogs dont care for the taste.) I am thoroughly amazed at how well this product works. It took about a month for the stains to no longer appear. Now hes tear-stain free! Oscar is mostly white with dark grey ears and light grey spots. The tear stains really showed up on his face prior to using Angel Eyes. Prior to using this, his face would be clear for a few days after being at the groomers place and then the tear stains would start up again. Now he doesnt have any! I wish I could post a photo of his face here for proof. :) I (we) are very satisfied with this product. When I think how much money I could have spent "trying" other products and finding out they dont work or that they take so much extra time or effort, it makes this product all that much better. I bought this for my maltipoo PNUT as he was having tears in his eyes. I mixed it everyday and within one month, I see a difference. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel had stains under her eyes. Also, the white fur on her chest and paws had turned pink. I bought this as a last resort, not really expecting it to work. AMAZING! This product seems expensive, but it takes very little each day to provide remarkable results. My 5 lb poodle had gooey tear stains that I was always cleaning with Angel Eyes wipes. The wipes gave temporary relief, but the stains just came back again. Our groomer recommended this product and in two short weeks, the staining stopped completely. I mix 1/8 teaspoon of the powder into each meal, and she eats it without hesitation.

Our Poodle/Chihuahua mix had very runny eyes and red stained fur which gets very smelly. I was about to see a specialist and look in to surgery but I found Angels Eyes. I was skeptical but tried it. It really does work. You just have to follow the instructions. Once you get going with it you just have to find the right maintenence dose and stick to it. If you stop you will be back to the same old problem. My dog likes the taste of it so I dont have a problem with him eating it on his regular food. If your dog doesnt like the taste try mixing in some wet dog food, peanut butter, or something your dog likes.

I have spent sooooo much money on topical treatments for treating the goopy eyes of my two little Bichon Frises, as well as hours of wiping, washing, and carefully cutting away rusty colored hair from eyes and mouths. I would strongly recommend that you talk to your vet before you start using the product. I have a 4 month pom-a-poo that had tear stains. I decided to try this product. I gave him the smallest dose listed. Two days after I started using it he developed "cherry eye". When I took him to the vet she showed me that He had it in both eyes and he would need surgery to fix it. She then told me that he had very dry eyes. I told her about the Angel eyes and she said that is what dried his eyes out. I feel horrible that my vanity to stop the tear stains caused my poor puppy to have surgery. Lucky the surgery was easy and fast and he is all better but I will not give my dog anything that is not vet recommended again.

I have been using the product faithfully with my dog and it has improved very little. I am not sure that I would spend the money again on this product. I have been told by a breeder to use mink oil and proxcide on the fur. I will try this before spending the money again on this product. I was very dissappointed, I will continue to see if it improves. If it does start to work I will write another review.

Ive been using Angels Eyes on my cream-faced Pomeranian for about 4 months. The tear-staining is reduced to a pinkish (not brown) color and is sometimes almost gone. Staining around her mouth--where she licked--is entirely gone. The most amazing thing about this product, though, is what it did to her horrible bad breath. Within days of starting this product, her breath had no odor at all and continues to be odorless to this day. By the way, I sprinkle Angels Eyes directly on her dry food and she laps it up.

Ive used this product for only one week on my white Bichon and we started to see a difference within 4 days. Now the tear stains are almost gone. I ordered the smallest amount to test it out first, but I think it works so well that I recommend buying the 120 gram bottle at a much cheaper price.

Angel Eyes worked for our 5lb. Maltese in one month. She has had one haircut since starting Angel Eyes and the staining is gone around her eyes. All I can say is that this product WORKS!

I am a breeder of poodles and poodle hybrids and this product has been a lifesaver for me. Within 2 weeks my cream poodle stud had a nice clean, stain free face.

This product is awesome and I will never be without it again.


Tip: If your dog is on dry food only (no cans) then make him/her treats that you can add this powder to. I make "meatballs" for my poodle stud and add the correct amount of powder to each meatball while they cook. I then bag them 7 to a bag and freeze them. I pull one bag a week from the freezer and feed one meatball as a treat per day. Easy way to feed this product and he/she thinks they are getting a special treat!

I had gone through two of the smaller sized bottles purchased directly from the manufacturer and noticed a big difference in my Shih Tzus eye drainage. When I ran out, I was debating on whether to keep up with the Angels eyes because of the expense, but noticed the drainage and tear stains return when she was off of it. The larger bottle is more economical and the price on Amazon was the best Ive found.

After 2 plus months of using Angel Eyes on my Cavachon puppy, it finally appears to be working. I think the key to this product is diligence. It appeared initially that she didnt like the taste and now is accustomed to it. She had a good amount of tearing...and now at 6 months, although not completely eliminated, it is significantly less. I will continue purchasing and using this product according to directions.

We rescued a little white poodle-mix from the pound. He was a mess and had purple staining around his eyes and mouth. I have never experienced all that goes along with a poodle and thought proper care would help. Not so! Within a week and a half of starting this product, his eyes were clear. (of course the already stained fur needed to be trimmed) It keeps working even if you skip doses once in awhile. Now "Reggie Roo" looks like the angel he really is!

This product does work very well, that is why I was disappointed when my dog started vomiting after two weeks of using this stuff. I guess his system could not digest it. His vomit was filled with this stuff. When he first started vomiting I stopped giving him Angels Eyes and the vomiting stopped. I gave him Angels Eyes again and after a few days he started vomiting again. It is too bad it makes him sick, because it works very well.

Very expensive, but a Great product. My blessing is a pound doggy, a dark gray & white Shih Tzu, weve named Angel (not because of the product, that was pure irony). It is not a cure, in fact, discontinuing use allowed the tear staining to return. However, since I resumed the regiment, her eyes and overall coat is clearly healthy. She us a finicky eater, but this powder is easily accepted. Knowing the product works, when I reordered, I selected the larger size. It appears to have been exposed to some moisture as it is rock hard and has to be chipped apart.Should have compplained and sent it back, but, it still works and this is the first time Ive had a moment to anything. Angels eyes are clear. Would love to send the before and after pictures again, they never got posted.

I used this on my blond and white long haired chihuahua and got results. I then discontinued it while she was pregnant. Later she and the pups developed the stains again. Within a few days of adding it to their food, I began to see lightening around the eyes. Ill continue to use it from now on.
