This product has saved my new leather seats from dog hair and scratches. Super easy to use and take in and out. The price is a little high for the simplicity of the product but worth keep the car clean and in good shape.

This is a great product for protecting your auto upholstery without spending big bucks on custom seat covers and cargo liners. We looked into seat covers for our Honda CRV and they were over $350. We really only wanted them to protect the upholstery from the dog. The Solvit Cargo Liner and Seat Protector do the job at a fraction of the price.

Good Enough

Its better than nothing at all and has saved my back seat from all the water bottles my dog finds and breaks open in my back seat. Its very heavy and not very attractive, kind of embarassing and annoying to move when you do have people who want to sit in the back, but it does its job.

This is a really great seat cover for dogs. Its made of a nice heavy canvas cloth face with vinyl backing. It will endure those big paws, without snagging. I have it for just a couple months now, and it has served my vehicle well and kept the mud and wet paws off the leather. The one I received did not have all the straps, so I had to contact the company, and they sent me the missing parts. The only draw back, is when I first received the cover it really smelled of vinyl and chemicals, I washed it, and left it outside to air out for a week. That is why I gave it four stars instead of five. If you dont mind that hassle, I think you would be happy with this cover.

I LOVE the Solvit Waterproof Bench Seat Cover. It was easy to install and stays on the seat even when my 74 pound Golden moves around. It works in both my car and my husbands. I would highly recommend this seat cover!

Great Product an service

Bought this to cover the back seat of a leased Ford Escape. Order was filled very quickly and recieved in good condition. Instruction were clear and it fit my back seat very well. no worries of letting our Golden get in the car wet or dry.

Protects seat from dog

The fabric is heavy duty and so far its worked well. It has more straps and buckles than we know what to do with, but it certainly stays put on the seat.

Just what I wanted.

This product was delivered in a timely manner, and it was just what I wanted for my car. It appears to be well made and of sturdy material. The only thing I didnt like about it is that it was a little dirty. Just a few white spots on it. No big thing. I just wouldve liked it a little cleaner since it was new.

Good in theory...not awful in practice

The surfact of the seat cover is indeed heavy-duty as described. It is a neutral color so it blends nicely in my car.

Since this is a one-size-fits-all cover, it doesnt fit my car very well (in my opinion, one size fits all means it doesnt fit anything). That is not totally unexpected. I dont have headrests but I was able to loop the straps around the back of my seats when folded down then closed it back up. That works relatively well. Unfortunately, the lower straps, to attach to the horizontal part of the seats, work very poorly. They attach both a elastic strap as well as a strap with a hook. There isnt enough unobstructed space under my seats for the elastic strap and there is no where to attach the hook. So, it often rides up, leaving a good chunk of the seat uncovered. I havent figured out a workaround for that yet.

I bought this one, in particular, because it had holes for the seat belt clips to come through. In case it was needed, I was going to buy a seat belt harness for the dog. I should state that I bought the cover not simply to keep dirt and hair off of the seat but also to keep the dog from destroying my car. He had, on a couple of occasions, nibbled on my seat belt and looking hungryly at the seats themselves. On the first day, he grabbed the cover near the seat belt hole and tore a 5 inch section of the seat cover. Where the seat belts come through is a weakness in the cover. I think this is the only place that it could be torn. I guess he was just lucky to choose that place. I do plan to tape them up.

Excellent Seat Cover

I have a two year old English Bulldog who has been through more seat covers than I can even count. She always finds a way to pull them up and get to my leather seats....I have had this seat cover for a couple of months now and it really does stay put. Assembly was simple...I would highly recommend this product.

Durable and easy to install

I did not have a problem with the solvent smells that others have described, and Im pretty sensitive to those kinds of smells. I have a Honda CR-V and it fit very well. Easy to put in and easy to take out. The seatbelts fit through slats, so you dont need to take it out when the kids go in (in fact, it protects from kid spills too!)

I think its a pretty great product. Ugly color! ;)

Seat Cover

Does fit well in my back seat. Order should specify type of car it fits well in. I have a standard sedan, but not head rests in the back, and therefore would not fit well. Could not use cover with rear seatbelts as advertised.

I have not actually used the seat cover yet. Although it looks durable and rugged, it smells strongly of solvents. I have had it hanging out on the clothes line since I bought it 3 weeks ago. I will probably put it to use this week. I recommend hanging it out in the fresh air prior to using it or you will think you have a leak in your fuel line.

Great seat cover

This was a replacement for one we got at Target. It has many more features. Putting it on the seat is so much easier and it actually stays in place. It can be adjusted to fit different seats also, so it can be used in more than one vehicle. The dog loved it!

This was a replacement for one we got at Target. It is easier to install, but doesnt always stay in place. It can be adjusted to fit different vehicles, but is not big enough for our new Pilot The backing cracks so washing is now a challenge.

Great for Dogs

I find this cover to be very useful for transporting my puppy. I do not have leather seats, so this way my seats stay clean. If he gets car sick, then I simply remove the cover and wash it in a washing machine.

Great for kids too!

I bought this to protect the seat of our new Prius from our 2-year-old, and so far so good! It covers just about the whole seat, stays in place, and resists spills. The only drawback is that you cannot use the middle seatbelt while the cover is in place. Not that big a deal for our needs, because the car seat is one one side and it doesnt really leave enough room for two more people to sit back there anyway.
