  Angels Eyes for Dogs 30 Gram Bottle By: Angels' Eyes Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 146 More Information Didn't work  On: 2008-11-18my dogs eyes were no better after putting Angel Tears on his food for two weeks. My groomer heard of this but had never used it until..................  On: 2008-11-16"I will never go in another pet shop as long as I live". Repeat after me. The 4 1/2 month old bichon looked scraggly, underfed, had obvious ear infections and terrible tear stained tracks but......he needed me. So I whisked him off to our vet, first, and then to our groomer. She said she had read about this product, "Angel Eyes", but hadnt used it and couldnt imagine that it would work but said that some people online raved about it. I thought "what the heck" and ordered some through Amazon. About a week later there was noticeable improvement and at two weeks, the tracks were gone. At Rudys second grooming appointment, our groomer couldnt get over him. A lot of love, premium food (Innova Puppy Food, its cheaper through Amazon), medication for the ears and "Angel Eyes" had turned him into a right handsome little fellow. The groomer is now recommending it to all owners of dogs with this problem and so am I. Just add a little to his food (1/4 tsp. in Rudys case)and youre good to go. Rudy loves the taste but then again he loves the taste of EVERYTHING. I did a little research on the ingredients and found that its primarily ground liver but also has a very mild antibiotic in it. As the dog grows you go from daily administration to several times a week. Frankly, Ive forgotten his dose a couple of days in a row and his tear stains are still gone. Ive tried external concoctions before for tear stains on previous dogs weve owned and none of them ever worked. I wont be without this product. it's working! My dog wouldnt touch it, and it didnt matter how I served it. I tried to hide it in food or treats without success. Works pretty well  On: 2008-11-03I have definitely seen an improvement. My puppy still gets some tears and stains but is significantly better. Seems to be working! On: 2008-11-02It took a couple of weeks before I noticed a difference on the tear stains of my 6 month old maltese. It does seem to be working. My groomer said that they look much better and that probably by the next time I take her to be groomed,the tear stains will be gone after she trims around her face. I just hope this doesnt have any adverse long term effects on her health. I just put in an order for the 120 gram bottle. It should last a long time. Angels Eyes for Dogs On: 2008-10-27Very effective product. In just a month, our dogs new hair is coming out without stain and pure white. Cant wait for his next grooming session to cut off the old stained hair. Angels' Eyes Really Works! On: 2008-10-25Our vet recommended Angels Eyes for our little white 6-pound Maltese dog. The hair under his eyes had gotten black from allergies, it was so bad. It didnt take much of the Angels Eyes and didnt take long, either, and the hair grew out white again. And best of all, my dog loves it! We sprinkle a tiny bit on his food 2-3 days a week. Were so glad we found it! Works on the toughest tear stains On: 2008-10-24We have a Bichon Frise as a member of our family. I have tried numerous products without success (predominantly topical). When I saw the manufacturers website, I saw hope for my brown tear stained dogs face. I ordered the product and it came in a well insulated package. This product is a powdered form of dried liver. It smells ok and when my dog sniffed it, he ate it right away. It is too thick like chocolate milk to put it into water. After a week, I wondered if it would ever work. After two weeks there was a 50% reduction. By week 3, I was reassured that the product was working well. By week 4, the tear stains were practically resolved. Beard and tear stains resolved after about a month of use. I was told it works secondary to a low level antibiotic. This product works better than ANYTHING in the market. This product works and the money was worth every penny. I highly recommend this product. Depending upon your dog, you may have to give 1 teaspoon a day. This 30 gram bottle may not be enough. It is true! On: 2008-10-24I used Angels eyes on my 4 month Maltese, she has been using for the last 30 days and her eyes are clean! I highly reccommend this product Great stuff On: 2008-10-18I have a toy poodle and she would get awful tear stains around her eyes I could not find anything that would work until I found this product and thought I would try it it is a bit pricey but I would pay it so my baby would look better again. I have now been using it for about six months her eyes cleared up within the first 2 weeks and then it was completey gone in a month when I took her in for her grooming I give it to her 2 times a week now and it has not com back I highly recomend this product.... It is worth the money Angel Eyes On: 2008-10-18I(my Bichon,Nycel),have only been using Angel Eyes for a short while, but it seems to be helping. I was very happy with how fast I received the product. No more red-mouthed (and footed) Bichons! Or bad breath. On: 2008-10-17I love Angels Eyes. Both of my bichons have had red mouths (and subsequently red feet) for, I dont know, FOREVER. Angels Eyes has cleared it up completely. My Bichons look totally different. But, not to be all about asthetics, my little guys also have had TERRIBLE breath, and dental care has not proven helpful. Angels Eyes has! No more dog breath. 30 grams is not enough On: 2008-10-15I am only about 4 or 5 weeks into using this product. So far no noticable changes in my dogs stains. Hers are really bad... but I hear it takes about 3 months to see results. But my dog eats it with no problem, she doesnt even notice its mixed with her food. The only thing is you should definitly get a large quantity right away. The 30 gr bottle didnt last long. Its more cost effective to get the 240 gr bottle right away. Angels' Eyes is a wonderful Product On: 2008-10-12I have been using this product on our white dog for over a year . It keeps her eyes from staining and she looks beautiful!!! Angel Eyes On: 2008-10-11I have been using Angel Eyes for 2 months and it has helped my little baby (Maltipoo) quite a bit. Hasnt made the darkness around her eyes go away completely but it has helped. Angel Eyes - No Runs, No Drips, No Streeks On: 2008-10-10I have been using Angel Eyes on my Bichon Frize and he no longer has the ugly stains around his eyes. The product works great and he just loves it on his food. If your pet has stains around their eyes, Angel Eyes will definitely help. Pekingese On: 2008-09-20We have a white Pekingese who had really dark stain on her eyes.Angel eyes has almost cleared it up after 2 bottles you can hardly notice it at all now and Im sure after this bottle it will be gone! Just what we needed On: 2008-09-20I ordered this and it was shipped in a timely manner and it was the exact product we were looking for Use Caution! On: 2008-09-13This product does work, but it contains Tylosin, which is actually a low grade antibiotic. My dogs developed diarhea after 2 weeks. Consult your veternarian before using this product! On: 2008-09-07I use much less of the product than the directions stipulate because my dog wont eat his dry food with too much sprinkled on the food, but it definitely works. My parents introduced me to Angel Eyes after I asked how they finally got rid of the tears beneath their dogs eyes. The product claims are right on target. And when I purchased, Amazon had the best price going. It didnt come with the little measuring spoon (which is very handy) but for the price, you can make do. It doesnt eliminate the tears and the goo, so you must keep the eye area clean. My dog loves the flavor of Angel Eyes. Amazing Magical Product! On: 2008-09-05I decided to take a chance on this after reading all the reviews as I had tried every other product. Really wasnt expected it to work all that well, as others have claimed the same and nada results. WOW it works! I have two Shih Tzus, black and white, mostly white, one has a total white face. She always had ugly brown tears stains, upsetting to say the least, well she has been on it just two weeks now and her face is the most sparkling white! I took her to have her shaved down and it is all growing back in totally white, absolutely no tears stain at all, NONE. An amazing product, like magic! Daisy's Angel Eyes On: 2008-09-03I purchased angel eyes as a last resort. My little dog had terrible red stains under her eyes and around her mouth. Within 1 week of using this product we saw a complete transformation of her fur. She now is free of the red stains and looks absolutly beautiful. A sprinkle a day keeps the stains away! I am very happy with this purchase. angel eyes On: 2008-08-19Angel eyes so far has been lightening those ugly tear stains for my pup. the only thing is she doesnt seem crazy about the taste or smell of the powder and she eats only dry food so its harder to mask. She will eventually eat it but I wish they had a flavored sauce with the product that you could add easier to dry food. Works as promised On: 2008-08-15Angel Eyes really worked to eliminate the tear stains on my teacup poodle. Prior to using Angel Eyes, he had dark red stains all under his eyes. We started using Angel Eyes about a week before his haircut and could almost immediately tell that there was no new staining. I am glad to report that Angel Eyes really does work. After 3 weeks, her eye stains are 90% gone. angel eyes On: 2008-08-10This product was recommended to me by my vet and works almost immediately. After about 2 meals with angel eyes her tears stains are noticeably lighter and almost gone. Remember to keep up with it though. It only works while the dog is still eating it. Double benefit On: 2008-07-14I tried this product for my malti-poo with perpetual tear stains. Within two weeks her stains were visibly improved. My favorite thing about this product was the surprise benefit. Angel Eyes cured my dogs halitosis. She has always had terrible breath, even with regular dental hygiene. Just as her tear stains were clearing, we noticed that her bad breath had disappeared. I have no scientific evidence for this effect, just practical experience. Even if the product did not clear her stains, which it did, I would continue to buy it for the dental benefits! Skeptical at first On: 2008-07-10At first I was a bit skeptical on this product, since i did not see any change after the first few weeks. But let me tell you 3 weeks after my pup was taking this she got groomed with all her current stains all cleaned away. It has now been 2 weeks since her grooming and her tears are no longer staining. It is an amazing product so I ordered the larger size. This really works!!! On: 2008-07-08I must say I was very skeptical with Angel Eyes, but I have tried alot of other products prior, and nothing worked on my dogs brown stained eyes. Low and behold, within 1 months time, my son, Alex aka my Maltese/Shih Tzu puppys eyes are clear, no more brown staining!!! Angel Eyes is not cheap, but well worth every penny. I would recommend it to any dog owner who has encountered the same problem I have. Worked w/ Maltese On: 2008-07-02I was recommended this product for my indoor Maltese which stains a lot around his eyes. Ive been giving him 1/2 tsp. per day (1/4 in the morning, 1/4 in the evening), and the differences was noticeable after one week. I used to bring my Maltese to the groomer every other week, and a month has passed w/o professional grooming, and hes not staining as much. This is an exceptional product Great item for white haired dogs On: 2008-06-20This product works great especially on white haired dogs. It take about a week to see a difference, but the dog loves it...it smells like their liver treats. Its a light powder that you spread over their food. Also, since dogs like it, they are more likely to have a new found fondness for their own food. Depending on how teary your dog is, depends on how fast this works. We have a Shih-Tzu and saw a difference in a week...great thing. Angel Eyes is the one you want!! On: 2008-06-15We have a beautiful American Eskimo puppy (Suki) who is all white. We struggled with her eyes always being teary and brown. We were not sure if we wanted to add anything to her food. Well...we were certainly proved wrong. Her vet was very encouraging to try angel eyes after reading the brochure. Suki has never been happier, she no longer rubs her eyes, and is quite beautiful. On: 2008-06-14I found a stray Malti-Poo on the freeway who was undernourished and severely matted. After receiving permission from the vet, I started using Angels Eyes to try to get rid of the DARK red stains under her eyes! Cocoas eyes started to clear up after a WEEK!! Now after a few months I only have to use it once a week in her food for maintenance! This is a WONDERFUL product!! Product works great On: 2008-06-13This product worked within two weeks, on both my toy poodle and shih tzu. I will buy again when I run out. Angel eyes for dogs On: 2008-06-13It was a bit pricey for us but we were willing to try it to see if it would help with the discoloration and tearing of our precious Shih Tzu. We began to use the product on him and he dog became very listless and had extremely loose bowel movements. I checked the ingredients list and found it had 100% beef liver. Our dog is allergic to many things, particularly beef. So, I gave the rest of the product to a friend to use for their dog. Allergies to beef are common and I wish I would have checked the ingredients before I purchased the product. Works like a charm! On: 2008-06-10I was skeptical about this product for the longest time. I have a 15 year old Maltese/Bishon mix, and a 2 year old purebreed Maltese. Previously I had to cut away the short hair under their eyes weekly because the goobers would get so bad. I finally tried this product, and within a week of sprinkeling a pinch of this on their dry food and there has been a dramatic decrease in eye goobers. It is fabulous. Works like magic On: 2008-06-08This product really works. My Coton no longer has the unsightly brownish colored stains on his face. I was amazed that the stains started going away after only one week on this product. I will say that after a couple of weeks he refused to eat his food if it had Angles Eyes in it and disliked it even more in his water. Since I wasnt going to stop giving him the Anglels Eyes as it was working so well, I came up with something that worked for him. I started mixing it in with a little peanut butter and fed it to him on pieces of broken up dog biscuits or treats. He loved that and now looks forward to getting this special "treat" every day. So, dont be deterred if you pet doesnt like the taste - simply mix it in with something he loves and he will gobble it right up. Angels Eyes for Dogs On: 2008-06-07Angels Eyes seem to be helping with the tear staining. It is expensive, so I will have to see how long the bottle lasts to justify if it is worth getting it again. Need to clear up your dog's white face? On: 2008-06-01This works well. I used Doxycycline for awhile, but it stopped working. I now use this for my fluffer (little white maltipoo-rescue). Used daily until his face cleared, I only use it a few times a week, now. Also, I dont use nearly as much as it calls for. No need. I just put a few sprinkles on his wet food. EASY!!! AND, it doesnt taste gross. Never had a problem with him not eating his food. I still have over 1/2 a bottle and it has been MONTHS. Works like magic! On: 2008-05-24My mom introduced me to this product several months ago. She and I both have Maltese dogs and she said it really works and I saw the proof when I visited her over the holidays. Both of her dogs have clean and unstained hair around their eyes. I have been giving this to my little one ever since then and he doesnt get the brown rings around his eyes any more. He looks so much better and I dont feel so embarrassed when I take him out in public. On: 2008-05-11I had heard that this product would help with tear staining but I was amazed when my little dogs stains where completly gone in a month. Im a professional dog groomer and I have used many topical products and none have worked. I now recommend Angel Eyes to all my clients. You GOTTA Try It! On: 2008-05-04It really WORKS! This product comes in a powder form that you add to your dogs food. After adding the product, I sprinkle a little water and stir it. It smells bad but my dog eats it with no problem. On: 2008-05-02This product says it is suitable for cats. My cat will not touch her food with this on it. The instructions say to put it in water, if they wont eat the food; that doesnt work for her either. Apparently it works best for dogs. I received it quickly, and the packaging was fine, I just cant use it! Totally works On: 2008-04-28I have a bichon and have used over the counter stuff for her eyes and nothing seems to work. I still havet o clean her eyes regularly, but the discharge is no where near as bad as it once was. Also, she loves the taste of it. Angel Eyes is Heaven Sent!!! On: 2008-04-25I was sketical about the claims of this product but it really works. My Maltese had a typical bad case of red stains by his eyes caused by some bacteria. This product neutralizes the bacteria and the stain turns clear so the red stains go away. I used the product as direct and within about two months or so the stains dramatically disappeared. If you follow the simple directions on the bottle you cant lose. The small sized bottle (30 grams) should last at least 6 to 9 months because after it start working you will cut down the doseage and frequency from daily to twice per week. She has many allergies and her staining problem was huge. For the first time, I have been able to control it so that her face is white like the rest of her. Beautiful eyes On: 2008-04-12Angels Eyes for Dogs 30 Gram Bottle I have a malti-poo who is all white and sooooo adorable except for his eyes. He constantly had rust colored tears running from his eyes and so much so that it stained his mustache. Nothing I tried would clean it and he looked so sad. After months searching pet stores, the web and talking with veterinarians I found Angels Eyes and decided to try it. Within the first week the rusty tears had considerably lessened and he is so handsome now. I have a beautiful little maltese 4 month old puppy that had a horrible red stain between and under her eyes. It made her cute little face look terrible. I tried the tear stain wipes and was using them on a regular basis, but they did not help. I read about Angel Eyes on the internet and really thought that it would be a hoax. I did everything that others had suggested. I waited until she was asleep and using a magnifying glass made sure that I cut all the hair that could be in her eyes. I also changed her food. I was giving her Eukanuba, which after reading the label, found has beet pulp in it and therefore, changed to Wellness. I received Angel eyes and Sadie turned her nose up at it, so I did as someone suggested and made tiny meatballs, adding the correct amount of Angel Eyes to each one. They were so simple because all I had to do was throw one in the microwave for 20 seconds and it was done. She absolutely loved them and I had no problem getting her to eat them. Within one week I noticed the tears drying up and in turn the red color was disapprearing. I also started using a herbal tear stain remover and did have to cut away a few of the really red hairs. I received Angel Eyes on 3/3/08 and as of today, 4/5/08 her little face is perfect. She has a beautiful white face and Angel Eyes is worth every penny. I am now using it every other day. I am one of the most skeptical people alive when it comes to purchasing a product on the internet and generally will not go by someone elses reviews because I always assume the company put someone up to writting a good review. It works On: 2008-04-06My Bichons white hair was turning black with licking. This almost immediately lightened and then almost entirely resolved. Angel eyes good job On: 2008-04-06I am very pleased with the Angel eyes. I noticed a little difference in six days. Later I started to notice a big difference around my dogs eyes. I have a toy Bischon, and she has always had a lot of problems with staining around her eyes and down the face. Angel eyes seems to be taking care of this problem. I rated the purchase a four star because the bottle was half full. I contacted the seller and they stated the reason was because of change of the bottles. I think they should show some type of notation on the bottles are being sold. Pleased On: 2008-04-05Absolutely LOVE this product. It is amazing. . . my maltese went from very stained eyes (all the way down the side of his face), and stained mouth to almost completely gone and the little bit that is there, is so unnoticeable!. He looks forward to his "treat" at dinner time, I take canned food and dip pieces of it in the powder and hand feed it to him to make sure he gets it all (and that my 2 other dogs, not maltese) dont. Have been using for about 3 weeks now, the staining started clearing up immediately, and even his eyes look brighter and more alert, doesnt have that tired, squinty look. (He is 1 yr 5 months old). Stupid and likely illegal On: 2008-01-24Using an antibiotic drug for cosmetic purposes on your pet is a very bad idea. It will increase the likelihood that you and your pet will get a resistant infection. Think MRSA. It is also likely illegal because this drug has not been approved for this purpose by the FDA. The only legal use for tylosin in dogs and cats is by injection for treatment of respiratory illness. For that you need to go to a veterinarian. Angel Eyes Really Works! On: 2008-01-23My 5 lb apricot poodle has always had tear stains. Ive tried every product out there to remove the staining. Some provide temporary clean-up, but the tears continued to gather. My groomer recommended this powder, and the results have been amazing. In two short weeks the tearing has stopped. Her face is absolutely clean -- there is nothing there to wipe off. When the eyes are clear you continue with a small amount to maintain the condition. We tried mixing it with the dogs food, but they didnt like the taste and sometimes would not eat it. The best way is to mix it with a tablespoon of applesauce with about a teaspoon of chopped chicken mixed in. The dogs simply love it and have it gone before I can get the applesauce back in the refridgerator. Its a real treat for them. It was very grainy, the dog refused to eat it and of course it has not solved the problem of eye stains. I didnt give it for 3 months as directed (seems way too long a period, and about a month got rid of it), nor did I phase out doses per directions, since youre not supposed to do that with antibiotics either. I agree that it is expensive, but it is the only thing I have found that not only eliminates tear stains, but actually seems to whiten the coat overall. I tried a competitive product with a very similar name but it was less palatable. As it is, I hide Angels Eyes in a tiny bit of canned food and my Maltese doesnt even notice. I am also at a point where just a teeny pinch maintains dry eyes and white coat. It took a couple of weeks for AE to work, but it has never stopped working. I didnt believe that it could, but by the 3rd week, there were no more tear stains. Fantastic stuff! Angels Eyes 10oz On: 2007-03-26I heard alot about this product so I tried it. About a hour after giving it to my dog he started licking his feet until they were really wet. He didnt like it in his food and wouldnt try it again later. It works but it's costly On: 2007-03-22I would give this product a 5 for its effectiveness but I give it a 4 because 1) its expensive, and 2) it doesnt provide a permanent solution. If I stop using this product, I am pretty sure that my puppys heavy tear stains will come back instantly. Lucky for me, my maltese bichon mix puppy eats practically anything so feeding this to her wasnt a problem at all. I noticed that her eye discharge reduced significantly since I started her on this product. She still has some tear stains but way less than before. I wonder if it will completely go away....Ive only used this product for less than 2 weeks for your information. I have tried Eye Envy prior to this product and let me tell you -- IT DOES NOT WORK. Its amazing how well people fabricate testimonials. I dont understand what the powder does anyway. I was wary about the product so I purchased a $20 starter kit just for kicks. I use Eye Envy in addition to Angels Eyes because hey, I cant waste my purchase whether it works or not! Anyway, this product really work but it is COSTLY. Im seriously thinking about coloring my puppy to a chocolate creamy brown if they dont come up with a permanent solution! My only wish is that they reduce the price. An Amazing Product On: 2007-03-19In less than ONE WEEK my Yorkies tear stains are a fading memory, I am amazed! I highly recommend Angels Eyes! Amazing! On: 2007-03-10I was skeptical but this really works. I have a cockapoo who started off golden/apricot as a puppy but is now an off white. The eye drainage was a pain to deal with - to clean and to look at. Now she is sooo cute without those brown stains around her eyes and mouth. I really cant believe the difference. Im also relieved that she likes the taste. I just hope the price goes down so I can keep it up. It really works! On: 2006-10-30I was a little leary of this product, after all, I had tried all the topical ointments and nothing worked. But I am thrilled with this product. Although the directions indicated it might takes weeks to see an improvement I noticed a big difference in just a week. My dogs eyes arent as runny and after I took him to the groomers and had his hair trimmed the brown tear stains are all gone and have not returned! Also, it hasnt affected him eating his food either. My dog is finicky so I was concerned he might notice the taste and not eat it when I added it to his food. But it either has no taste or tastes good cuz he still eats his food without a problem. This product is worth trying! |
