My dog runs to the counter for his meds now! He reminds me when I forget and does tricks to hurry me up - and it is low cal (better than cheese).

Nasty Pill Time Replaced by Special Treat Time!

My dog was once good about taking pills with a bit of peanut butter. Now that hes on more meds, Ive had to up the ante to get him to take the pills. Cheese. Hot dogs. Steak. Most pills got spit out no matter the disguise. (Of course, he eats the good part.) The next tactic involved forcing his mouth open and shoving several pills. Twice a day -- not a bit of fun. My vet recommended trying flavor-doh. Although I hate the smell of it on my hands (easily remedied by soap and water after the fact), "pill time" has become a pleasant ritual. Im convinced my dog watches the clock. If Im late with the "new treats" (pills disguised in flavor-doh), he reminds me. Also, I feel better about using this low calorie carrier because my dog is less active now and doesnt need the higher calories of the previous pill disguises.

EXCELLENT PILL DESGUISE

My dog will eat any pill if inserted into a small ball of this magic dough. No more "prying a mouth open and rubbing the throat" routine. This stuff is awesome!

Putting medicine in Flavor Doh is the only way I can get any of my 3 dogs to take it! I have tried baking chicken, frozen french fries, you name it. They love this product and never hesitate to eat it. The scent seems to mask the smell of the medicine. Thank goodness!

A Must Have!!

If you have a dog who needs to take pills on a daily basis, this product is just what you need to make the "medicine go down!" My dog begs for her "pills" when I forget to give them to her!! She loves the Flovor-Doh and I love that her cholesterol is better since Im not using american cheese twice a day to administer her pills!

Anyone that has a dog...this is a MUST! We used to poke the pill down our Yorkies throat. I hated to do it and than we found this! She loves it and we no longer have to poke a pill down her! Wish that we had found this sooner!

Small tub of this gunk was a bit too dry to cover my bulldogs pills. he didnt seem to like the smell or taste either (he spit it out, but hes pretty picky).
