  Hartz Training Academy Training Pads - 50 Count By: Hartz Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 20 More Information Worst Pads For The Price  On: 2008-12-11To me there are 2 types of pads. The economy pads that are really thin, dont soak up the urine, create wet tracking paw prints on my floors but all in all serve their purpose if you dont mind the extra mess/smell and are way cheep. Then you have the great pads like Advanced that soak up the mess/smell, minimize paw prints, and never leave my floors damp but cost a little bit more. These Hartz pads are the worst of worst and priced about the same as the quality pads. The Hartz have cheep backings which my chihuahua completely soaks thru in the mornings. It is terrible picking them up. Plus if he pees once then he tends to poop on the floor next to the pad because the pad is gross and full so he doesnt want to stand on it. I have a chihuahua not great dane so if he doesnt like them then these must be made for tea cup pups. Pure quality.  On: 2008-10-01This Hartz puppy training pads are really a good buy. You have just outpriced yourself by raising the price from $9.99 to $15.21 even with the 4 for 3 discount and the free shipping(thats why the two stars). They are cheaper at Walgreens where they still sell for $9.99. You can lower the price in consideration of your customers,Ill buy them again. In the meantime, if you want a pretty good pad Ive used the ones from DHMEDICAL online where they have 200 pads for $30 and reasonable shipping. Zero Stars for Amazon. five stars for the Hartz quality. Best no order pad on the market On: 2008-09-17This is the first pad I ever tried with my puppies. When I had difficulty finding them I had a mess on my hands. Every other pad on the market has a scent to draw the puppies to them however, My puppies thought someone else was using their pads and would not potty on their paper. AMAZON was able to track down a supplier for these pads and we have been accident and mess free since I received them. My thanks to AMAZON and Hartz for a superior product! Love these! On: 2008-09-02I hesitate to say how much I love these for fear I wont be able to get more, ha. My itty bitty dogs Romeo and Juliet use an "indoor potty station" for dogs and instead of the litter/gravel, I use these and have for 5 years now. Great value, thanks for listening. Great pads! On: 2008-08-28After trying several training pads, these have been the best! They are well constructed and do exactly as they advertise. They help with preventing odor and dry quickly. Ive tried the more expensive pads and after they have been used once the puppies wont use them again. These maybe dont absorb as much, but they do the job and are much cheaper. They absorb everything needed for one use! This is my third shipment. GREAT! too bad the price went up... On: 2008-08-04I am always looking for a good deal so when I saw the 50ct pack for $9.99 with the 4 for 3 discount, I knew it was a steal! They are super absorbent and Ive tested many! They are a great size and the odor doesnt seem to linger as long with these pads as compared to others. I would continue to buy if the price were to stay the same as when I bought them but now with the price change, I think I will be looking for another brand despite my great review of the product. Best for Chihuahuas On: 2008-07-26I have two chihuahuas. There is no way a chihuahua can hold it all day, either in a kennel or out. Their little bladders are not big enough. Plus, they do not like cold weather or rain and getting them to potty outside is an effort in futility. I have tried every puppy pad at the local retail stores and figured out these were the best. They are quilted so they do not bunch up. My youngest dog cannot chew them up like she does the blue ones. Why they chew them up, I have no clue....its a puppy thing! I have been buying the 24 pack of this brand pad at my local Wally mart for $7.00. They are $10 at the grocery store! I just happened to see these on Amazon - 50 for $9.99 and with the 4 for 3 deal and free shipping, that comes to $7.49 per pack. Less than I was paying retail with sales tax for 24! Great job, Amazon! I will be buying these regularly and I wish they had them on Subsribe & Save so I dont have to reorder! AWESOME FOR THE MONEY! On: 2008-06-26why most puppy pads are $30 for a pack of 50 is beyond me. I used to get these at my local grocery store for 9.99, until they stopped carrying them. With the 4 for 3 deal, these end up being 7.50 per package, a huge deal! I have 3 small dogs who dont always want to go outside, so we use these every day. I love them! I wish they were bigger, but oh well, cant have everything! BOO AMAZON On: 2008-06-22These are really terrific housebreaking pads and I love them! BUT Amazon, shame on you. I was paying $9.99 for a pack of 50, and with the Buy 3 Get 4th Free the price was $7.50. Now you have raised the price to almost $16 each and no 4th one for free!!! I will be looking to purchase them elsewhere. hartz training academy training pads On: 2008-05-09Have used many training pads for my dog and these are by far the best I have used Good Value for a well known brand On: 2008-03-27we used these pads for our new Puppys and it works great. No Odor or leaks I'll buy More On: 2008-03-25We have a small dog that cannot be let ouside, particularly in the winter, and have always resorted to the pads. Weve used other brands but they were not as absorbent and were inconsistent in manufacture. The Hartz are much better and moisture proof. We havent found any bettert for the money. Puppy Pads - I have tried many of them On: 2008-03-23Im very pleased with these puppy pads. My dog is an indoor pet as a result he needs access to these pads 24hrs a day. I have tried many other pads with mixed results. These are consistant and they do the job! I purchase a two month supply at a time so I dont run out. And finally you cant beat the price! Works great. On: 2008-01-03My dog uses these pads with no problem. Shes small (just under 7 pounds) so I havent had any problems with leaks at all. Hartz does make an environmentally-friendly version (Hartz Planet Earth Biodegradable Puppy Pads) but, for some reason, my dog did not like them. She would not use those pads at all. These, however, she has no problem with and the price is decent. I would recommend the biodegradable version if your dog will use them. If not, these are great. Best value on amazon! On: 2007-11-06These puppy pads are great. My pup took to them immediately and uses them regularly. Because I have a small dog with small messes, she can use these a few times on different parts of the pad before I actually have to throw it away. The only reason I gave this a 4 rating is because they arent biodegradable, which environmentally I would prefer. But this is probably the best value Ive seen on the internet AND in stores! But I suggest stocking up when you order, because theyre might take awhile to arrive...currently 4 to 6 weeks to ship!!! great price for a fairly good product On: 2007-09-10The first time I put this pad on the floor, my Shih Tzu puppy, which is not trained, immediately knows to go on it for urine-ing after sniffing at it. Thats amazing. Its not really tear resistant and completely leak-proof. But thats understandable, depending on how aggressive the dog is and if its been replaced before getting too saturated. Cant beat the price, for 20 cents a pad, it served more than its cost. |
