We just adopted two pups from the humane society, 9wks, we tried pads on the floor and they enjoyed tearing them up. We just received 2 pad holders and pups found a way to tear the corner of the pad out of the holder so I sprayed some harmless not so good tasting liquid around edges of the pads and the pups used the pads overnt and no white fluf to clean up. great idea and less to deal with after work or first thing in the morning...
Highly Recommend     On: 2008-11-02

I am very satisfied with this item. It is great with the store bought pads or newspaper. Neat appearance compared to just pads or newspaper and protects the floor.
warped! Does not sit flat on the floor     On: 2008-10-16

I have bought this same tray and it was fine. This one is defective.
Works great for the price     On: 2008-08-18

I used this product for a small breed dog that was less than 10lbs. The dog did not tear up the edges since they are secured in the frame. Removing and replacing the pad was very easy.
Great buy!!!!!     On: 2008-05-27

This is such a great buy!!! I was wondering if I should buy this or more expensive one. This is inexpensive and does the job!!! If you are like me wondering which one to get, I highly recommend this one.
great!     On: 2008-03-29

this product is awesome. My dog got adjusted to this tray really fast and has been using it ever since. It does get annoying having to hose down the tray, but way better than having to clean up dog messes on the hardwood floor!
" NOT JUST FOR PUPS"     On: 2008-02-19

I have been using one of these Fantastic simple Hygienic Pad holders for close to 8 years and I have to tell you honestly, if you are going to be getting a new Pup this is the only way to go.It makes life so simple and easy, It is a God send to Apartment dwellers like myself in NYC .I trained my English Bulldog Pup close to 8 years ago to use one of these Pad holders and Life with my Bull has been a Joy.And as my review banner says, not just for Pups, they can be used all the time. When my Bull grew into her Adult size I just upped the frame size.I should have just purchased the Large to begin with as I recommend you do.It makes Dog ownership a joy not a chore. My Dog is a Female so I dont have Leg lifting issues, she was Housebroken to use the pad system and of course the stand by the Door time to go out look system. But what is so Nice as XXXXX has become older and no longer really desires to go out, she can use her Pad with no mess no fuss no noise no Barking no annoying Neighbors. The pad frame is simply left in the Kitchen in an unobtrusive spot and she can go in and do her business no fuss no mess. Also it is a life saver for inclement weather and for that matter the Owner who is just to tired to play walk time after a hard day,and quite frankley once your Dog is using this sysytem this will be the way they relieve themselves 24-7. There walks will be strictly for enjoyment and exersise, of course this would be if you do not have access to a fenced in yard or Dog run.My pad has become 24 7 fixture no more running home to let the Dog out. no more suffering for the poor Animal, having to keep its Legs crossed until the owner gets home, no more messy cleanup because we got stuck at work. Now My Wife and myself dont have to feel guilty about not charging home.Believe me this item is more of a joy, for the owner. As gross as this subject can be , its a fact of life for Humans, Dogs, Lizards we all go.So why not make it easy for yourself and your Pets. Some of the tips I can pass on are, Dont purchase a pad holder that is to small, this way the Animal will always have a dry spot, the bigger the frame the more likely they will never miss, whether it is a Wiz or a Dump.We have found it to be so unobtrusive , I put mine under the kitchen table, they seem to like having the table over them, I guess its like a faux cave or den. As far as the pads go, forget Pet stores with there 20 pads for 15 bucks, these are just standard Hospital Nursing home Underpads also know as Chuxs, use an Online med supplier or Amazon they have 300 pads for 15 bucks ,I have even seen 500 pads or more for under 25 dollars so you see there is no reason not to keep using the pad system. These things are win win for Human and Canine. They help get your Life back and make Pet ownership what it should be a joy.To train your Pup to use the pad sysytem, wait to the little fellow has to take a Wiz or dump( wiz is better) Lift him or Her onto the pad and let him mark the Pad. Now for the next few weeks play, grab Pup move Pup to pad , whenever they start to squat. After about 2 weeks XXXXX was using it by herself and I dont think I have to say this, but please dont Rub your Pups muzzle into its mess if it has an accident. Just a, No bad dog and move her or him to the pad, that muzzle rubbing garbage is Sadistic and useless.
Good idea     On: 2008-02-08

This is a great product and definately keeps the pet from dragging the pad all over the house. Only problem is my puppy wont go on the pad so she just chews on the tray.
Not Perfect, But Still Better Than Most.     On: 2007-09-07

The tray itself is neat, compact and easy to change. The only drawback is that I use Arm & Hammer weewee pads which are wider than the holder itself. So I have to fold the sides of the pad to fit and this cuts down on the amount of space the puppy can use. However, compared to the other holders, this one is cheaper and does its job. Another benefit is that my puppy used to go on the sides of the weewee pad and would sometimes spill on to my hardwood floors. Since the holder is elevated, theres a LOT less of a chance for spillage, which is great for me and great for my floors.
Great training tray     On: 2007-06-05

I purchased one of these pet training trays to give it a try. I also purchased the 17x24 wee wee puppy underpads to go along with the tray. The wee wee pads fit this tray perfectly.

When the pad is installed, the edges point up in a groove making a 1/2 inch rim of plastic all the way around the boarder. This makes for very easy clean up when the pad is full. There is no leakage under the pad to the tray. I was so impressed with this tray that I had to purchased 2 more.

I have a 19 lbs sheltie that is home alone all day long while I am at work and sometimes the tray is overflowing, but because the tray makes the pad form a rim all the way arround the boarder, clean up is a breeze.

I would highly recommend this to anyone with small pets. PS I had purchased a different tray that had a grid on the top that eliminates the need for the wee wee pads, but unfortunately, my dog will not use the tray with the grid installed, she does her business beside the tray. And that tray was $50. I truly believe that this is a great buy and it works wonderful.
Richell Paw 94529 Trax Pet Training Tray     On: 2007-01-09

The Ruichell Paw Trax Pet Training Tray for my purposes was a useless item. Overall however, the product is well made and the intent for the training tray certainly has its merit. As far as I am concerned, the product is overpriced and over rated.

The delivery was excellent and I appreciate this very much.

Dont waste your money.
