They are so much better for dogs than raw hide. Wonderful for any dog, but a Chihuahua!  On: 2007-08-02I bought these tendons for my four chihuahuas, but they are too big, and too hard for them. I assume this would be true for all small to toy sized dogs, unless yours has esspecially strong jaws. I have given them to medium and large dogs and wow do they love them. They also dont last very long with a large dog. These dog chews are stringy, and because of that it flosses the dogs teath.
