Better for a tiny, short-eared dog     On: 2008-06-28

My 20 lb mutt could not get her snout in there to eat in a comfortable manner. Further, her long ears dragged in the water bowl beside the food bowl, making a mess. I cant use it.
Misrepresented Product     On: 2008-05-20

I ordered these, and while they were a good price and a pretty good product overall, one was blue and the other was cotton candy pink. Not exactly what I want in my kitchen and not exactly in the product description that they will deliver any color they want to. It leads you to believe they are just white. Make sure to check on that, I will be returning mine.
Sturdy Dish for Small Dogs     On: 2008-02-14

I bought one of these for my Boston Terrier and it is a good size for her. However, I do wish it was a little taller to help her swallow easier. The height of the bowls stand 3.75 inches off the floor. Great Stainless Steel Bowls wash easily in the dish washer. Get the next size up if you have anything bigger or taller then a Boston Terrier.
The picture is misleading-this bowl is for tiny dogs     On: 2007-06-27

Ok...it is totally my fault that I overlooked the 4" measurment. I looked at the picture with the 2 liter bottle and the hound and thought, thats about my dogs size, and ordered this without reading the fine print.
This 4" is a good bowl size for a cat or a dog under 20 lbs.
The self watering feature requires you to remove the metal bowl.
