But we use a seat belt and she cant see where were going. This booster seat allows us to still use the seat belt and now she can see the whole world passing by! She loves it! There are extra straps but they are designed for different seats (bucket vs. back seat) and theyve made my small dogs calmer since they are safely strapped in but can still see out. Just dont leave your dog in the car in hot weather! Why not protect your pet from being hurled into the front seat or worse in an accident?! We bought two! (Pay attention to the sizes and weight limits.) Protect your pets--great car seat! It would be impossible to ship this item without instructions! Just OK.  On: 2006-07-04While the idea is great, in reality the car seat doesnt work that well. It could be that the seller sent me an item that was a return, and didnt include any instructions! The front part of the seat just hangs there, easily allowing your dog to slip off the seat, and making it an unsteady ride. There is a clip to hold the dog in, but they slide around since its not constructed right. I dont know, maybe if the seller sent me a new one, with instructions, Id know if perhaps I installed it incorrectly, but I dont see any other way to do it.
