Great for retrieving, not a chew toy

My lab loves chasing this ball when I punt it. The tennis ball material on the outside tears very easily and once the ball is punctured it becomes pretty flat. Needless to say the ball gets punctured rather quickly with my lab so these last maybe a few weeks and then they become almost impossible to kick far enough to excite my lab. Great concept but the ball needs work. Also, once the outside material is torn dogs become obsessed about ripping it apart. Lastly, the squeaker lasts about one or two kicks because once its punctured it stops working.

Dogs go crazy over AirKong football

My dog, Snickers, is normally a quiet, happy dog. But when we squeeze the AirKong football, its screams turn him into 60 pounds of excited hound, ready to go for the kill. Then, when I throw the deflated ball, it cries all the way across the yard, giving a few dying gurgles when it lands. This drives Snickers wild, and he charges for it, and cant wait to attack it, and bring it back to me. We play this over and over until my arm is sore or he is exhausted. We played for months until the snow covered the back yard so deeply that he could not easily find the toy. When we brought it into the house, he ripped it up, but has spared the replacement. I cant wait for winter to end so we can throw it around again.

Caution - this toy excites dogs to an amazing degree. My neighbors old black Lab was so obsessed with this toy that he blew out his ACL in his knee. Young pups love it, but make sure older dogs are ready for a real workout.

durable, but too loud

Great ball, good shape, and very durable, but I dont let Lexi play with it anymore because it is way too loud. Sounds like a fire truck siren screeching through your eardrums. Not recommended for use in public parks or dog runs. If you have 40 acres of private land, then this ball will be okay, and you must invite me :)

Lots of Squeaky fun!

I have a large dog that loves squeaky toys, and also loves to chew! This is his absolute favorite toy! He carries it everywhere, and he just loves to make it sqeak! The squeak is loud, which he really loves! Hes had it for about a month and the squeaker is still going strong. He has not destroyed this toy as he has others in less than an hour of playing. His football still looks like new! We highly recommend this toy for lots of playtime fun with your furry friend!

not what I expected from Kong

It is a quite large toy intended for large breeds (so I thought). However, my german shepherds tore it to pieces in a little over one hour.... May be it should be mentioned that this is a rather soft toy not intended for large dogs.
