A Life Saver

I absolutely LOVE this play pen. I have a 3 lb. Yorkie and he is used to having a space for himself. At first I had a play pen created for babies, but Khalil was unable to get in and out as he pleased and it was very unsanitary. He uses puppy pads and often he would pee off the edge of the pad, leaving a stain on the bottom of the pen. After a while this caused the pen to be very dirty and smelly - despite cleaning it with bleach and attempting to sanitize it with lysol spray. I had to throw that pen out and didnt know what type of pen to get because I wanted him to be able to get in and out as he wanted and for it to be sanitary.
During the day when Im not at home, he is able to easily get in and out of this pen to use his puppy pad or sleep in his bed. He feels very safe in this environment, so when I travel to other places I take his pen along. At first I had some problems taking the pen down and putting it back up; but, as I got used to how the pen worked, that got easier. Now I have no problems at all. Im able to fit it into the carrying bag and take it anywhere I need.
Im actually ordering a second one for the new puppy I am picking up in a few weeks. This pen is very sanitary, if you keep the plastic shield in the bottom. Im able to wipe up any little mess Khalil leaves and there isnt any fear of urine stains, etc. I would recommend this to anyone who owns a small dog or plans on adopting a small dog.
