They Can Stuff Them!

When I first saw this package, I thought the outside of these bones would be able to be broken down once my dogs began chewing them and their saliva helped to break them down. After opening the package I found they are as hard as stone and, Im sure, if chewed vigorously, a dog might even break a tooth on these. As for the marrow stuffing, who would be able to access it inside such a long shin shank? My dogs struggled with trying to get as much out as they possibly could (about an inch and a half) then began tossing the hard bones around in frustration. NO, I am calling the manufacturer to see if they will reimburse me or Ill try to return them to where I bought them.

When I found these stuffed bones, my first thought was what a good deal they were. Ive boughten similar bones of different brands that were a little more expensive so I thought Id give them a try and see how my dog liked them. She seemed to enjoy them just as much as the other brands and she ate most of the stuffing she could reach out of each end. When I tried to push the stuffing through from one side to the next so she could get to it it, I found they had no stuffing in the middle, only what was stuffed on the ends! So these bones may be a little less expensive than some other brands but at least the others have stuffing through the whole bone and not just on the openings.
