great idea, bad dimensions     On: 2007-02-17

I love the idea of this crate, how small it folds down to, and how easy it is to transport. I was really impressed with it until I set it up and tried to get my dog inside. It was too short for my 55 lb dog and barely tall enough for my 35 lb dog, despite advertising that the size is for dogs up to 70 lbs. I really wonder where they got their dimensions from.
Great for travel     On: 2006-10-21

We have a Cocker-Cavalier mix. I thought it would be too big for him when we bought it when he was a pup. He is now 29 lbs and it is perfect. I got it mostly because you can put the seat belt through straps sewn on the kennel and it keeps the dog safer. I always worried about if there would be an accident and dogs panic and run off. I dont know how well it would actually hold up in that incident, but many times it has saved him from being thrown around the car in a quick stop.
I would highly recommend it for traveling.
I have the medium sized sport pet dog kennel     On: 2006-10-04

I bought one at Walmart, for dogs up to 60 lbs. I was impressed with how cheap it was, 16 dollars for a dog crate! We only need it occasionally when we travel, our dog is calm and does not chew so it works great. It folds up so small it is extremely convenient. However I would not recomend it for chewing or destructive dogs. I also would not put a dog that weighed more than 45 punds in the one that says it is for 60 pound dogs, it would be very crowded.
