I feed Force (and Embark) to my dog who has been eating a mostly raw food diet since he was 3 years old. He does exceptionally well on grain-free food made with mostly meat/veggies. Force is a great dehydrated food that you can add raw meat, eggs or other protein foods to or you can feed it as is. On this diet, along with raw meaty bones my dog has maintained his weight, not had any allergies or ear infections, has loads of energy, has maintained his black muzzle coloring (he is a Pug) although he is 9.5 years old, has clean teeth and has just generally been a healthy, happy dog. People cannot believe that he is 9.5 years old and think he is a much younger dog. I attribute his great health to feeding a very high quality food over the years. I would recommend this food for any size, age or type of dog as it is healthy, convenient and will save you from going to the vet to buy expensive (and sometimes useless) medications for years on end! This food is of superior quality and is well worth the extra cost. On: 2007-05-07
My dog has been on Force for about a month after the chaos of the dog food recall. Hes a picky eater and has no problem eating it. After months of having an unstable digestive system (occassional loose bowel movements and throwing up), his stool has been regular and solid and does not stink. When I was feeding him kibble, he always seemed lethargic and wanted to nap all day. After being on Force, Ive seen a change in his engery level. Hes more alert and playful.
Force smells wonderful, like Italian food. Although its quite expensive, its worth every penny. My 7-year-old dog seems like a whole new person. On: 2007-05-05
I have six dogs of different ages/breeds. I have been feeding high quality kibble and recently started raw food. I tried this food to have an added "convenience food" for my dogs. It actually smells good, kind of like a stew. While chicken is the first ingredient listed, it seemed to me the veggie content was pretty high. Only the dog that will eat anything tried and ate this food. The rest wouldnt even lick it to see what it was like or eat it with raw chopped meat added. I am sure that the product quality is good and many dogs will like it and do well with it. But if your dogs are already spoiled on a high quality raw diet Im not sure theyll take to it. Based on my experience experimenting with dog foods I usually get a much higher acceptance rating than I did with this product. Id suggest trying a sample size package (if not available on Amazon try honest kitchens website).
