We had tried another brand of this type of lead collar because it was cheaper. We returned it and ordered this one. Spend the extra money which is not much more and get this one. This one is easier to work and put on and works wonders. We have a very strong black lab who was hard to walk. This has made walking him so much nicer and fun. Its a great training aide.

We were enrolled in puppy training class with our 5 month old puppy. Walking our puppy had not been a pleasant experience, actually it seemed to be a tug-of-war resulting in much frustration. She wanted to lead and pulled creating too much tension on the leash. Our class trainer suggested this product. We used it the rest of the class that day and brought it home. We watched the DVD which is very helpful on how to properly use/fit the product. When you use this product please watch the DVD for the best results and the safety of your dog. I walked our puppy that night using the Gentle Lead and was amazed at what a difference there was and at the short amount of time it took for the change. She was walking right next to me, not pulling on the leash, and we both were able to enjoy our walk. I strongly recommend this product.

I bought one each for my two dogs, both high energy who really like to pull when they walk. Within 5 minutes they were walking by my side. Definitely watch the DVD, it has good tips for proper fitting (which I didnt the first time). Even my daughter can control both dogs together. Both took a little time to get used to wearing it, they rub theyre noses on the ground to try and get it off, but quickly realize its there to stay. Definitely a recommended product.
