3 out of 4 Paws     On: 2007-08-24

First Impression: Mom and Dad bought me my Top Paw Dog House the day they adopted me. They thought I might spend time outside. They didnt know that Id just follow them from room to room in the house all day long. I do fit in the Top Paw Dog House, but I only use it when Im on "time out" outside.

Conclusion: If your parents make you stay outside this is an adequate shelter for a large breed dog. If you have to stay outside over night in cold temperatures you may want to think of a different shelter, or at least a door. 3 out of 4 Paws because its just a standard dog house.
Doggie dog house     On: 2007-07-22

This dog house sucks, my dog really loved it the first time I put it outside. She took to it very quickly, and went in and laid down. But the next couple of days it rained, and wow it was terrible. My poor baby was soaked with water. I purchased it to protect her from the elements/weather while Im at work. And gee-whiz this was a waste of good money. She never goes in it any more, and it just sits out there collecting water when it rains. I usually have to dump the rain water out after it rain. And then towel dry it down, she still will not use it anymore. Even when its been dryed, she still will not go in there.
Leaks too much     On: 2007-04-18

Have owned for about a month. After 12 hours of moderate to light rain, it has almost 2 inches of water in it. Everytime it rains it gets water in it. Its easy to take the top off and dry it out and clean it, but I leave my dog outside all day when I go to work and I hate that it gets so much water in it, that he is sitting in water by the time I get home. Bought the doggie doors but they dont cover the door - have at least 1 inch gaps on the side. Of course it has to have split in the center for the dog to enter and wind can make it move, but it could overlap instead of have a gap I would think. If it didnt leak so much, Id like it because its easy to clean and move.
Love the dog houses     On: 2007-01-23

we have older dogs and needed something for them for when we are gone. At first I didnt think they would take to them but within 6 hours they were both in their own houses and they use them constantly. We live in a hot climate and I cant wait to see if they also stay cool during the summer.
Delivered very fast     On: 2006-03-17

This dog house is exactly as stated. It was easy to put together and our dog uses it daily where it is in her pen.
