![]() Hide A Bee - Large By: Plush Puppies Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 12 More Information Lots of fun for curious dogs I bought this for a friend who had three chihuahuas. i have two chi boys of my own and i know how active they can be. This toy provided my friends dogs with a fun activity they could do together (since theres more than one bee, they didnt fight over it). highly recommended for playful dogs. Keeps your pet occupied A little harder to remove the Bees from thier hive(compared to hide a squirrel) but still as entertaining. I have a Pit Bull so she destroys everything, ripping out the stuffing. So far the bees are still buzzing, when I come home from work it is the first thing she grabs, she loves it. My dog LOVES this!!! The doorbell rang and Diggs (my yorkie) already was freaking out so I showed him the box . He was jumping up and down getting excited (as yorkies do) and I opened it and gave him the Hide A Bee. He immediately began shaking it and trying to get the Bees out. He plays with this almost every day, sometimes he just carries the bees around and sometimes he carries the hive around! He is only 7lbs but I found that the "Large" Hide A Bee suited him perfect! All I have to do is give a bee a squeeze (so it squeaks) and put it in the hive and he goes NUTS! We also own the Hide A Squirrel and I would recommend both products! Siberian puppy loves it She loves this thing. The bees, the hive, everything. She especially loves to thrash the hive around and play tug-of-war with it. Worth the little bit of money! Busy Bee Bzzzzzzzzz I love these adorable busy bees and so does Maggie. And let me tell you, she is one sassy dog who loves to go on rampages and destroy comforters. But once she sees her busy bees go into that hive she dutifully works to remove them and it temporarily releaves us from all her destruction and terror. All in all, really a neat toy! Excellent Concept This has been a great toy to tap into Selbys "prey drive." He loves sticking his whole face in the hive and rooting around for treats. Unfortunately hes not as into pulling the bees out as other reviewers have mentioned. He usually tries to bypass them while going for whatever Ive hidden inside - a ball, or a treat. One other disappointment caused me to rate only a 4. While the toy is overall very well constructed, one of the seams on the bees is already splitting, and will eventually need to be repaired to keep the stuffing from coming out. Selby isnt into destroying toys, so for a dog who does like to tear things apart, this may not be a good choice. He does like to chew on the "hair" on top of the bees head, and so far hasnt been able to tear it out - impressive. The hive itself is very well constructed - I dont think it will ever wear out. Happy Dog I have a hyperactive dog, and she loves this. Keeps her busy for hours! She will carry the bee around with her everywhere she goes. Great toy, hours of entertainment We have the Hide A Squirrel toy as well and this one is just as wonderful. My dog loves this toy and enjoys the challenge of pulling each bee out of the hive. Ill say this though, the bees dont seem as durable as the little squirrels that come with Hide A Squirrel but otherwise this toy did not disappoint! My mini-labradoodle puppy loves this toy! She will drag the hive around waiting for me to put anything inside for her to find. She loves the bees too and has figured out how to make them squeak on her own! I would highly recommend this toy for any dog. Un - bee - lievably fun Some 3 1/2 years later after the first bees have seen their demise I am happily buying a second one. Buddy 10 lbs absolutely loves this toy - he loves to play with the hive and chase the bees and squeeks each bee for hours on end. Brinkley, well at less then 5 lbs and on his first week home someone decided to put the hive over his head and to this day he thinks this is a ton of fun trying to shake it off. This is by far the best toy - I am so excited to find it again and I know the boys will be so happy. This is a great toy for small to medium sized dogs. Hide-A-Bee This is one of the best dog toys ever! From the time I took it out of the box this morning, my Buddy hasnt stopped playing with it. I really want to get the Hide-A-Squirrel next. well above 5 stars. The best interactive toy available. 10 stars My pug loves this toy better than all the rest of this kind. He jumps to pull the beas out of the hive. He squeaks the beas. Perhaps it is the contrast of the black band and the shape of the bea head. He went crazy for this toy and got exercise with it. It is better to play with you dog and hold the hive and have them pull the beas out by their heads. He likes the wing detail for chewing on. This toy gives exercise. I am so glad I tried it. He plays with the hegehog on his own. Those are the 2 best toys. The squirels from the hide a squirel are fun, but the game holder is not something he was really excited about. These interactive toys are great. I have never seen such excitement and tail wagging. He hardly ever wags his tail and he did with this toy and the jumping is great exercise. This one is the best. It is well worth $10 for a dog who loves to play. I get him to stop destroying the house as much with these toys. |
