I bought it for my beagle/pug mix. Its just a inch too short for her but works great. my cats also drink water from it no problem. easy to put together. Cute and Sturdy-- Very Pleased. On: 2007-11-08I bought this elevated dog feeder for our 13-year old 20 lb. terrier who has arthritis and developed difficulty eating from her dishes on the floor. I had seen other products by the manufacturer in Petco and Petsmart, and thought their quality was good. This particular model has two stoneware bowls set into a wooden countertop that is removeable from the wooden base. Being able to remove the entire countertop instead of picking up slippery or water-filled bowls individually is a great feature that I hadnt expected, but one that is very handy. It was very easy to assemble, and is easy to clean. There is no food-storage bin-- this is only available on the next two larger sizes-- but I dont miss this feature and I wouldnt have used it anyway. And best of all, our terrier can eat and drink without stress and strain on her joints-- shes very happy with her new elevated dishes, and thats what matters most! Cute and Sturdy-- Very Pleased. No Food Storage Bin  On: 2006-07-19Unlike the description states, this product has no food storage bin. I was disappointed upon receiving this, especially for its price. I intend to return it. I do not feel also that this product is worth the $35.00 -- although the wood is strong and the plates are indeed stoneware. Mainly, I was sad to get it and discover no food storage bin. I am not sure why it would say that. Also, there were NO instructions to assemble, product info, material sheets, etc inside -- just the parts and bowls.
