But they were the wrong type. I feel like I was been mislead. Good price  On: 2008-12-22I feel that these batteries are always a little expensive. It would be nice if the manufacturer made these batteries so you could just change out the battery part from the housing instead of replacing the whole thing each time. However, Amazon always carries a better price than the stores AND I got a buy 2 get one free offer with this purchase. I have 2 dogs so it worked out well. Petsafe 6-Volt Lithium Battery (2 Batteries per Pack)  On: 2008-11-29VERY QUICK SHIPPER. This was a special bargain, because of the lowest price I have seen in a couple of years for these batteries - but I also got 4 packs for the price of 3. GREAT Not Necessary On: 2008-11-18This item was matched with the bark collar and made it seem that it would be needed, however when we received the products these batteries dont even work w/ that particular bark collar. Wrong battery On: 2008-11-03I dont dislike the battery as such. Its just that I bought it because Amazon says customers often buy it with Innotek pet collars. The battery doesnt fit these collars, and Amazon should not let this pairing mislead people like me. The Petsafe battery is a disk you screw in; the Innotak collars take a conventional cylindrical battery. I wrote to customer support about the matter, but received an automated reply that didnt resolve it. I note the PetSafe battery is still being paired with the Innotek collars. Wrong battery!  On: 2008-09-30I ordered this battery in combination with a collar on the recommendation of Amazon. I love the collar. The battery, however, is the wrong size so I cant use it. Doesn't fit the bark collar On: 2008-09-28I ordered the collar and 6 volt batteries together. The problem-the collar takes two 3volt batteries. The same, for less On: 2008-09-26Its the second time Im ordering them from Amazon because Im paying less than half what my local RadioShack charges for the exact same item. Of course, prices go up and down so be careful and make sure you bundle it with something else so you get free shipping. Note that the exact same product is offered by other merchants through Amazon at what may appear to be lower prices. However, they charge for shipping and you may end up paying a lot more that you would if you ordered from Amazon in a free shipping bundle. Pet control collar On: 2008-09-20We bought the pet control collar at a local store. I found the batteries on Amazon at more than half what I would pay locally. Great product and great price. Training Collar Batteries On: 2008-08-26I cant review this product. I never received it. The wrong batteries were sent with the collar and were returned with the collar. Petsafe batteries... On: 2008-08-18I love our Petsafe wireless fence system for the most part. My only hesitation is with the fact that from time to time the collar will beep without a cause that I can recognize. Im never sure if its a weak battery or a signal interruption of some type. It does keep our dog in our yard. Much cheaper than building a fence. Invisible fence dog collar batteries On: 2008-06-09Although I am not thrilled that this product is not just a battery but also a piece of plastic that will be discarded, it is a necessary evil. It came to my house promptly and does the job to keep my dog safe. wrong battery On: 2008-05-24I ordered a dog collar and the batteries to go with it but got these instead. They dont work with the collar I got. Dead Battery On: 2008-05-12One of two batteries in the pack was dead out of the package. The company will not accept returns after the package is opened Six volts each! On: 2008-05-09Not only are these batteries six volts, but there are two of them! They come in an attractive black case with a convenient pointing arrow. These are by far the best 67A-67D 6-Volt Lithium batteries I have ever purchased. Peace of Mind On: 2008-05-02After using the petsafe collar for only week, our out of control dog started to respond to our commands with the use of the sound only. We were so surprised and very relieved. She is like having a new dog. I would recommend this collar to anyone with a very hyper/unresponsive dog. The sound seems to do the trick with some practice. Dog Collar battery On: 2008-04-26Absolutely great price, I did some shopping around and the price that I got from Amazon was unbeatable plus free shipping, it cant get any better than that Thanks... Work as required On: 2008-04-18These batteries have lasted quite a while. Considering that the collars arent made for 24/7 use or long term, these batteries will most likely be enough to handle the barking issue with the collar. Backup Batteries For An Awesome Collar On: 2008-04-18These batteries are a great price for the set for the no-bark collar. Both the batteries and the collar are worth every penny! Best price online! Long Life Batteries On: 2008-04-04These batteries came with the bark collars that we ordered. We ordered an extra set because we were worried the battery in each collar would run out quickly - NOT SO! We havent even had to use the extra batteries yet because the original ones (same brand/type) are lasting so long! Definitely recommend. Good value On: 2008-03-28I have a no bark dog collar from Petsafe. It worked in a satisfactory way, but at the beginning during training it used the battery life very rapidly. This battery in a set of two is a good value; thats why I bought two sets. They arrived very promptly. Execellent service. Batteries OK, but...  On: 2008-03-15Nothing wrong with the batteries per se, although Im a bit ticked off that PetSafe requires these special batteries, rather than using standard batteries. These work On: 2008-02-19The only thing you can justly review this on is whether or not it is compatible with the collar it is designed for. Which it is. Giving it less than 5 stars is unfair. Any criticism of the choice of battery for a given collar should be put on the collar, not on the battery. The only exception to this would be if you got a bum battery that died too quickly. Which is unlikely. I have used these in the past and will continue to. Typically they last about 3 months each. This will of course vary if your dog tests the boundaries often and the batter actually has to be used. wrong item! On: 2008-02-08I was ordering a collar for my dog, and when I placed the order there was a suggestion at the bottom to buy these batteries with it because they lasted longer than the ones that came with it. So I did,and they are not even the right kind for the collar I have. Wouldnt even fit. Last time I buy something at the suggestion of the site without lots of research first. Confused?...you will be! Hard to find. On: 2007-12-12If you are like me, you have found these batteries can be hard to find. So you have to order them. Amazon always has them. They fit the collar perfectly and last a long time on our dog. The price is actually quite a bit cheaper, (even after shipping), than what the pet store in the next town charges. (Assuming they even have them in stock.) And by ordering online, they come right to your door. No burning up precious gasoline searching for dog collar batteries. Batteries dead on arrival On: 2007-12-05I purchased this item and thought it was great. However, when I put the batteries in the dogs collar they were dead within 1/2 hour. I would like to find out how to get my money back! Works great On: 2007-11-15Our dog has a mind of his own. When we would let him out of the house he would wonder off till he got ready to come home. The Petsafe wireless fence solved this problem. Now he doesnt get out of the yard. This is a great product. PetSafe battery pack On: 2007-10-20This is the standard battery pack available for the PetSafe electronic collar. They last about 3 months in the collar. The price is very good compared to buying it locally. I will return to Amazon to purchase again. Batteries Don't Last On: 2007-09-25I purchased the wireless fenced containment system and two pack of backup batteries. I had seen advertisements that batteries lasted 3-6 months. Not for me. I received them at the end of July, and they just died on September 23. Just under two months, with the dog wearing a collar maybe an hour a day, and almost never testing the boundaries. I am happy with the containment system, but not with the battery life. dog collar On: 2007-09-24This item worked when I had a big dog but it doesnt seem to be working with puppies. I had 1 collar already, your brand but a few yrs old and the new one of yours does not work as well as the old one. They put small batteries in the collar that require them to be changed often. A cost of $4.50 to change the batteries every few weeks makes the PetSafe collars far too expensive to operate. They should have put rechargeable AA or AAA batteries in the collar instead. I will never buy one again. My most recent collar purchase uses a custom module for the battery which is significantly more expensive than over the counter batteries.... Whats the deal PetSafe? I guess it ensures we will be buying only PetSafe batteries for the collars...... Super Duper On: 2007-01-12PetSafe batteries are the best. PetSafe 6-Volt Battery On: 2005-07-07This battery has a surprisingly long life considering how much my Yellow Lab barks and how many times it has shocked the tar out of him. I didnt think the battery was working until I reached down and touched the collar right when he barked. OUCH! It has plenty of juice left :) Great deal! |
