Great munchie for the fat dog

Okay, its not the dogs fault shes a little on the chubby side. After all, who feeds her? (But then, the little stinker knows how to push my buttons with the sad, pathetic, "youre starving me!" look when I cut back on the dog chow.

A dogs gotta chew, and rawhide has calories. These little treats are the right size to give a dog to satisfy the canine chew craving, but they arent so big or fattening as to undermine the dieting efforts.

Youre probably thinking the Halloween cut-outs are cute, and they are. But thats not why I buy them. The size and the price is right for dog weight loss.

With all the freaking out about stuff made in China, be warned: these ARE made in China (and weirdly enough, packaged in Mexico!) The ONLY reason I recommend them is Ive been buying them for a few years (yeah, the dogs still fat, but shes thinner than she was.) The dog is in glowing good health, so its fair to say these chews probably will be fine for your dog as well.

The seller is an Amazon affiliate so no free shipping; however, I buy these things in bulk, six to 10 bags at a time. The bulk purchase makes the shipping cost reasonable on a per-bag basis, and there more of the chews than anything comparable in PetSmart.

The vendors shipping rate is reasonable, about $5, and its a flat fee for everything you buy. They also occasionally have free shipping over a certain amount (you get it automatically when you check out if theyre running the promotion.)
