![]() Duralactin Canine 60ct chew tablets By: Duralactin Average Rating: 3.0 Total Reviews: 4 More Information nothing yet My 9 1/2 year old lab/chow has been on this for 3 weeks now and so far I have not noticed any improvement. I have him on rymadyl? for his hip and front paw and tried discontinuing it a few days ago, he seemed really miserable so I put him back on it. I will continue to keep him on this with the hope that I can stop the rymadyl and will update in a few weeks to let you know if I see any improvement. Also, he will not chew these so I break them up and put them in food. I also have put him on fish oil and glucosomine/condroitin pills. Still waiting... Delivery is way overdue. Apparently it has been shipped but I have not received anything. Supplier has pledged to re send the product. Hopefully Ill be able to provide an actual product review shortly. Rated 1 star only because I had to. Duralactin for joints My dog, an 85 lb, 15 year old German Shepard/Husky, suffers from fused vertebrae and hip problems. In her younger years she would go for long walks and occasional runs, so shes had a history of problem free mobility. Since her geriatric issues occurred, shes been on Rimadyl, which has worked fairly well. About 4 months ago she started having problems climbing stairs from the 1st to 2nd floors, and occasionally had a controlled crash. This resulted in her not attempting the climb. Shes been on Duralactin for about 2 months, and since then Ive noticed an improvement in mobility, specifically that shell climb the stairs again. Granted, its a slow climb and requires effort on her part, but shes able to do it again. For a 15 year old large dog, I believe that the Duralactin has helped. Great Stuff Turned my 13 year-old dog into a puppy again. She was avoiding stairs, now she runs up them. |
