I have followed the directions and let it sit on our dog for the required 5-10 minutes (which she was none too happy about being stuck in the shower for that extra amount), but I really havent seen an improvement in her itching. I will admit that I havent been following the directions to the T in that the bottle says we should use this shampoo 2-3 times a week. I have always heard we shouldnt wash the dog more than once a week or 10 days because that too, dries out the skin. So - its sort of counterproductive in my eyes.
