I can tell because soon after I put my dogs Muttluks on him he went along his way not acting as if he had anything on his feet at all. Also these paw protectors really stay on better than any I have ever tried before. They are well worth the investment in the care of your pets paws. I still have a pair of Muttluks from my little dogs who passed away at 13, and he wore them every winter, and they are still in great shape. I highly recommend this product.
