Systems Average Rating: 2.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information DT Systems ST302; Poor range, beeper not reliable  On: 2007-10-23The first set of collars (kit includes 2) had poor range (<1/4 mile) so I sent it back. The next set also has poor range (I believe they claim 1/2 mile) and the beeping mechanism is unreliable. Ive had very solid points that would not trigger the beeper. Ive tested it by setting the mode and placing the beeper stationary (placed vertically as it would be on a dogs neck) and sometimes it does not go off. If I shake it a few times and replace it, sometimes that will trigger it to start working again. If there is not a direct line of site, the collar has a range of about 50-100 meters. Id have been happier with a $0.40 bell than this beeper which cost me $400. |
