I have had two of these pet doors for the last 8 years and am just now replaceing them. They tend to warp after so many hot and cold days. But I would say that anything that last 8 years is an excellent product. I just bought two more for the pups.....

This pet door is just what I needed. Installation is practicly foolproof, and the diagrams of the steps are very easy to understand. The door itself is sturdy, and the flap is made of a thick, durable plastic. Like the other pet doors Ive bought, this one has a magnet at the bottom of the flap which helps to keep it closed when its not being used.
I noticed the other reviewer didnt like the plastic screws, but I actually prefer them. Metal screws would likely rust, especially if you live in a rainy locale, so I think plastic is a better choice. All in all, I cant really find anything negative to say about this product.
