Fly Stik Package By: Farnam Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 5 More Information Hey Flies! Over Here! I had high expectations for this Fly Stik. I have had opportunities for flies to land on it, but they totally ignore it. Too bad. So-so product We originally had this product hanging in our garage, where we were getting some flies near our recycling bins. It did not catch any flies. They were not attracted to it. We then moved it outside near our garbage cans and its caught a few flies, and some bees and wasps too. Mediocre results at best. Amazingly... It WORKS!!! I was very skeptical about this working, but I gave it a shot - and I was willing to lose the $6 + shipping if it didnt work. Its awesome!!! I purchased it to place above my trash bins in the garage. Its very easy to set up. Just take it out of the box, put the little pack of "hormones" on the bottom tray and hang it. Ive havent had flies sneaking in the house anymore! Yay!!! Ive only had this for about two weeks and there are quite a few, fat, huge flies (UGH!!!) stuck to this thing. Once they stick, its definitely not pretty to look at. Theres one little thing about shipping that bothered me - when this was packed, it was packed so tightly that the sides of the box got stuck to the stick and I had a heck of a time unsticking it. It still works great, I just wish the packing was a little less "bulky" so that this doesnt happen. All in all a great great value. Im repurchasing two more for good measure. Be warned. Dont be fooled by the picture and forget that its 2ft long. Depending on where you intend it to hang, that could bring it down to head level. You have to be careful around this thing. I backed into it and that was it. I spent half an hour trying to get my hair free and washing off the dead flies and naturally scented fly sex hormone it directed I pour into the bottom end. Priceless. Great! This is a good product. Easy to set up, not messy, just have to add powder to the base. No smell, very effective. Ive had it in for about 3 weeks and its covered! |
