I have had a problem finding this medication for my golden who has allergies & suffers from hot spots until I checked amazon.com. It was recommended by a friend in golden rescue. Since this has helped the itching so well I have ordered the shampoo & ear drops to complete the therapy.

I have used Sulfodene for many years - I have a house full of dogs and several times a year one dog or another will get "hot spots," a red, moist-looking patch where the hair falls out. If not treated right away, it quickly spreads. Sulfodene is nearly miraculous. I just wet my fingertip with the product (cotton balls soak up so much product that it uses up the bottle too fast), and then "paint" the hot spot with my finger until it is wet. I repeat every 12 hours. By the next day it is healing, and in 3-4 days it is gone. Every time, guaranteed. You cant go wrong with this product, dog lovers....
