Not good for us...     On: 2008-07-27

We have two dalmatians and this product did not work for us. When they both were puppies, we thought the Comfort Zone would help them when we went to work (being separated from us for about 7 hours each day). Our one dog actually jumped on the wall (it was a high outlet) and ripped it down. We came home to a chewed plug-in! Did not work for us.
Wonderful aid for my puppy!     On: 2007-12-06

I read all the reviews online about the Comfort Zone product and the simple truth is it will work for MOST dogs. Not all of them. So you take a chance when you purchase it. Plus, you need to constantly have it plugged in and they ask you to use it for 90 days to gain the full effects of the product. It only took one day to notice a difference in our puppy when we left for work in the morning. She barely whined and actually fell asleep in her area as we were walking out the door. When we came home she hadnt had as many accidents and actually took the time to use the puppy pads we had laid out. I am buying 2 more for the bedroom and our family room so the whole house where our puppy roams has adequate coverage 100% of the time.
May or may not modify behavior     On: 2007-10-03

Bought this product for our puppy thats going through kennel training. Have tried leaving the dog with it plugged in and with it NOT plugged in...not seeing much difference. Well see how it goes over the 4 week period, to see if we replace it or not.....
D.A.P. Not Effective     On: 2007-09-14

I bought this product with very high hopes and am very disappointed with it. I hasnt worked even a little bit on my dog. I can see that she does smell something from it as she goes as far away as possible from it when she is in the same room. The first night we plugged it in, I decided to put it in the bedroom so she would get the benefit of the product while she slept. Well, she walked over to it, took one sniff and proceeded to bark at it and wouldnt stop until I removed it from the room. Dont waste you money, but if you want to try it, I have a diffuser for sale real cheap!!!
Help- but not a cure     On: 2007-02-20

This product is great for dogs with mild to medium anxiety issues. Dogs with severe seperation anxiety often need behavior modification or sedatives. This product is not a "cure all" or a "miracle," but it is an AMAZING aid for working through anxiety.

Disappointing     On: 2007-02-13

I was encouraged by others reviews of this product but sadly its had no effect on my dog. He is still very anxious. I guess I should have known it sounded too good to be true.

It surprised me!     On: 2006-07-17

I was amazed when this product helped my 10-year-old Great Pyrenees survive her annual 4th of July fireworks phobia. I plugged Comfort Zone into the room where my dog hides during 4th of July week, and she actualy slept and did not hyperventilate or try to dig through the floorboards, as she has always done before. She still didnt like the fireworks, but she was irritated rather than terrified. It truly is like magic.
Magic Juice!     On: 2006-01-14

When we brought our puppy home he had pretty severe separation anxiety. He was great with us around but got very very stressed out whenever we left. I was home Thursday for a doctor appointment and sleeping, the girls put him in his crate to go to school and he was very upset. He would not calm down and whined, barked, etc. for a full hour straight before I got up and got him out. Then of course he was so worn out he just about passed out on my chest for an hour. He did it again when I was at the doctor, etc. I was getting worried about him so I did some research and at the Drs. Foster Smith site it mentioned a new product called Comfort Zone,
I picked it up Thursday afternoon and plugged it in Thursday evening. Within 10 minutes he wasnt hiding insecurely at my feet anymore but prancing and playing across the room. He slept through the night. He didnt even wake when I left at 5:00 AM for work Friday. When my daughter got home from school Friday he gave only one little yip of hello and then waited patiently for her to get settled and come get him! It should be called Magic Juice!
