Best We've Had!     On: 2008-12-30

One of the best dog frisbees weve tried! And weve tried lots as we have 3 very active border collies. Would highly recommend! Great value and quality!
Great For Frisbee-Crazy Dogs!     On: 2008-10-20

Our Border Collie is nuts for catching frisbees. The plastic ones break pretty quick, and several of the fabric type we tried didnt fly very well. This one is the right weight to fly really consistently and holds up to quite a few catches before showing wear. She loves it!
virtually indestructable!!     On: 2008-09-18

We purchased the flying cow as a training toy for our Australian Shepherd. We have been working with a frisbee instructor and he uses these before the dogs "graduate" to the plastic frisbees. These flying cows are extremely well made. Everyone knows how destructive puppies can be! Kadence is learning quickly how to catch and jump up using this toy. No worries about when she wants to play tug of war. She can pull with all of her strength and there hasnt been even one thread that has come loose. Besides being well quality, you can throw these in the washing machine. This toy is well worth the money.
Super tough!     On: 2008-07-21

A life-long dog owners (we have #4 and #5 now), I can honestly say this is _the_ most durable dog toy I have *ever* had. The youngest, Blue, is a Black Lab/Chow mix, and like most labs, she is a _strong_ and prolific chewer. She is also very active and loves to play fetch at the parks and beaches here in San Diego. But everything we buy for her to play with, she invariably destroys, and does it fairly short order. My wife wanted to train her to play with frisbees, but Blue would bite through it right after the first or second time, rendering them basically useless.

About 18 months ago, in Jan of 07, I bought strangely-named Bamboo Combat Extreme Flying-Cow Dog Toy here. And after many, many uses, it is still in great shape! And this is after not only normal use, but also my dog using it often in a tug-of-war with her canine boyfriend, a Rotweiller mix. And she will also occasionally sit there and chew on it and try to take it apart like all the other toys she has destroyed. It is a slight bit frayed, but nowhere close to being unusable. This thing is *tough*.

Yes, it will get dirty (the horror!)... yes, it does not fly as far as a plastic frisbee (it is made out of cloth, after all). But the best thing about it is that it is tough... and it does that exceptionally well.
Blows away the comp.     On: 2008-06-28

This frisbee is way more stout than others! its 2 months old and is showing no wear.
Great for Tobi!     On: 2008-06-14

Weve had trouble with her destroying the "dollar store" toys, but this one seems indestructible so far. Tobi is a one-year old boxer who is obsessed with her flying cow. Its soft enough that it doesnt hurt her to catch it in her mouth. We try not to turn it into tug-of-war, but when we do, the product seems like it will hold up.
durable for tons of fun     On: 2008-05-27

My dog Gracie is addicted to this toy ... she goes through about 1 every 3 months. Every other dog toy we have found lasts about 3 hours. This is well made, and stands up to the most aggressive teeth, and flies well to boot. Highly recommended, especially for big dogs.
great dog toy!     On: 2008-05-12

This frisbee toy is great for our yellow labrador Basil - Its his favorite toy! Hes mangled it a little, but its taken a beating and still flying well. Much better than a plastic frisbee. I thinks its washable as well, and floats, though we havent tried doing either. Basil enthusiastically recommends this toy!
Your Dog Will Love It!     On: 2008-04-20

Ordered this for my very active yellow lab who chews-up everything. And I mean everything! She has so much fun with the flying-cow toy...she even plays with it by herself, tossing it over her head. Its been several months now, and still intact. The average toy usually lasts a day, two at best, with Abby. Highly recommend for all these reasons.
Indestructible (so far, 6 months)!     On: 2008-04-13

We have two rottweiler mixes, and a lab/terrier mix. They are all loveable goons, but they can tear up toys like they were tissue paper! But not this disk...wow, is it ever durable! It will last, the white fabric will immediately get dirty, and it doesnt fly as far as a traditional flying disk, but our rottie puppy LOVES it, and he constantly plays tug with his siblings dogs and this thing just keeps on lasting...a rarity in our household!
Bamboo flying cow     On: 2008-03-28

My dog is 16 lbs and enjoys the flying cow, it is one of her favorite toys. She expecially likes the softness of the fabric. It is however, not bearing up to the abuse it is given, it is played with constantly. Some of the seams are giving way. I have purchased the Ruffwear disk as well and it is a little to hard for her.

Worth it, sort of...     On: 2008-03-12

As the owner of a frisbee-obsessed 9 month old chesapeake bay retriever, i am constantly looking for a frisbee that will hold up. This one did better than most, and i think would last for a very long time with any "normal" dog. This one is cloth, which suits my dog better - the plastic ones usually snap in half because he bends them if he has trouble picking them up. Ive had this one for about three weeks, and it finally ripped yesterday but only because the dog likes to shake it, bend it up in his mouth and (mostly) then drag it with his feet across the entire yard. With closer supervision im sure it would have lasted longer. The rip in it is about 2 inches long, but its still holding together and usable, however i know it wont last too much longer. It seems a little heavy/thick but flies better than most others ive bought, and since it is very tough double layer nylon it holds up nicely (with regular use). I would reccomend this to anyone with a gentler dog. After spending alot on cheaper $2-3 frisbees, this one for $8 was worth it for me, even if only for a few weeks.
Holds up great     On: 2008-03-04

Due to how well the 1st one worked, this is the 2nd one of these Ive purchased. Wears great for heavy chewers.
Golden Retriever Favorite     On: 2008-02-27

My sister has 2 very large, active goldens and I have one. They love the Flying-Cow Frisbee. They fetch and catch them on dry land, in the pool and in the lake. The Flying-Cows are played with hours every day and they have held up very well. Yes, it does take time to get used to throwing these floppier, heavier frisbees, but once you get the hang of it, they fly quite well.
Perfect for indoor flights and destructive dog     On: 2008-02-13

Ive never seen a frisbee last as long as this one has with my maniacal Border Collie mix. Nice and soft for in the house tossing. We love it! About the only improvement I can think of would be using a fabric pattern without white in it (looks gross pretty quick)...maybe a tiger or leopard print instead of a cow. Kudos! Great design.
I was skeptical.....     On: 2008-02-08

Ive tried pretty much every frisbee out there and nothing for this price has ever lasted more than a few outings. I was proved wrong with this one. It also flies nicely, which some of the others (which last) do not. I havent tried it in water yet to see if it floats (were still frozen). The fact that you can return it forever is awesome.
Super Tough as Advertised, 2 dog-tested and approved!     On: 2008-02-02

My two dogs love to tug, and this toy survives them both at least 4 months with no more than minor damage (1 or 2 stitches around edge opened by teeth).

This includes play between my tough little guy Seamus (43 lbs) and his two favorite tug buddies, each over 100 lbs of destructive power.

Its also been a great floater for my swim/fetcher dog; it works well flying above land too although Honeys not interested in fetching there! She keeps it with her whenever possible, its like her security blankie.

Im a dog trainer and recomend this toy to all my fetch/tug loving clients. Easy to wash, too!
Dog Likes It     On: 2008-01-26

My dog loves to fetch this toy. It actually flies pretty well, not as far as a regular frisbee but far enough. When I initially opened it she was very excited to get it so I let her play with it for about 5 minutes before we went outside. She managed to chew away part of the rim in that short amount of time (shes a 25lb beagle/border collie mix agressive chewer). I just take it away from her when we come inside so she doesnt destroy it. Outside she loves it. I havent washed it yet so well see....I havent tried any other soft flying frisbees.
Not a bad product     On: 2008-01-16

I bought this for my dog daycare. It held up so-so. I would buy it again but it isnt quite as tough as they advertise.
Cool Toy my Dog Loves it !!!!     On: 2008-01-07

This toy is awesome it flies really well and it is soft on my dogs gums for her to catch and doesnt fly sooo fast she cant catch it. keeps it shape and so far in one peice. (",)
Best frisbee ever     On: 2007-12-24

My large golden retriever LOVES his frisbee. We keep several on hand so theres always one available. He carries it with him when we go on our walk so he can chase it when we get to the park. This is the only frisbee that has ever stood the test of time with my dog. He likes it because its soft when he catches it but doesnt fall apart. Its aerodynamic enough to make something out of a less than expert toss so the neighbors children can still make it fly. It will hose off pretty well but doesnt always do well in the wash - the foam padding between the kevlar layers has folded over inside. When they get too ratty we toss them out and buy a new one.
Every toss is a new adventure.     On: 2007-12-03

A cloth frisbee is hands down kinder to your pet than plastic and this one stands up to a lot of abuse. My Blue Heeler is an aggressive chewer and will systematically DESTROY other toys. Not this one. If your dog is more destructive than mine, then simply remove the toy when playtime is over. I have to do this with the Chuckit Flying Squirrel Frisbee. Another great product.
Favorite toy     On: 2007-10-20

The Bamboo Combat Extreme Flying Cow is by far our dogs favorite toy. Flys great like a frisbee, but soft on mouths and hands. Our guys just love them.
Not Great But Loved     On: 2007-09-29

Its mostly white which lasts about 2 seconds in the yard. Its heavy so it doesnt fly well. It has a strange rim on the botton so the theres even more weight. It does not wash well. The other cloth" fribees" are much better.Still my fetch obsessed dog loves it. It could be a tree limb as long as I threw it... Save your money.
Excellent and tough     On: 2007-09-04

I am purchasing another one of these-not because my dog destroyed the first one but because we ran over it with the lawn mower. Here is the amazing thing-dispite a riding lawn mower attempting to chew it up (the blades on the mower are newly sharpened), it only made a minor hole. The frisbee still flies but isnt as predictable. We have been through numerous other frisbees and none hold up to my german shepard-only this one has. We have tried the flying squirrel and the kong-both of which he prefers but the flying squirrel is destroyed in less the 1 week and the kong in about 4 weeks-that is too expensive of a habit. And he likes this one perfectly fine if the other choices arent available. He will not use any type of plastic frisbee.

So, if you have a dog rough on frisbees try this one-it really is tough!!! Even John Deere couldnt put it out of commission!!

Better than the rest     On: 2007-07-31

I have now had this for a month or two now. The product is still in one piece, with no holes chewed through the middle. My dogs chewing has frayed the sides of the toy. Usually by now, a disk toy like this has been completely destroyed, but this one hasnt. It still flies and does its job.
Excellent product... my dog likes it !!!     On: 2007-07-09

As advertised, this flying disk is very soft and pliable yet seems extremely durable.... plus it flies really well. Very satisfied overall and definietely recommend this product for dogs that like to catch frisbees on the fly.
Flyin' high...for a cow     On: 2007-07-03

My 3 mo old dalmatian is a chewer and chaser so this is a great toy for him. So far, after about 3 weeks of daily ware and tare this flying cow is still fun for him and seems to be holding up to all he dishes out.
Great frisbee!     On: 2007-06-30

I bought this toy since my dog loves frisbees but they often dont last too long. The plastic ones tend to crack and the cloth ones get punctured or torn making the frisbee useless for its original purpose. I honestly didnt think this frisbee would fly very well but I figured the material would be tough enough so it would last a bit longer than the others. I have to say, its exceeded my expectations. I flies really well and its so durable that it stands up to an overexcited Doberman during a game of frisbee.
My dog LOVES it! Easy to catch.     On: 2007-03-02

I have had trouble in the past training my puppy to catch a hard frisbee, so I decided to start with a soft one like this. At first, I looked in the store, but all the soft frisbees were in the $20 range which I thought was ridiculous. I bought this one on sale for $4.99 and my dog loves it so much! I keep it up on a table when we arent playing so that she wont chew it apart, and I often find her standing below the table staring up at it and then staring at me, just hoping I will invite her to play frisbee! She catches this one with ease!

The absolute world's best frisbee!     On: 2007-02-20

This is the worlds best, truly long-lasting, safe frisbee. And, believe me, I know since I have a dog who has gone through hundreds, I swear, over the years, even the ones that were supposed to be more indestructible.

I bought this one a couple years ago, and it still works fine today. A bit bedraggled, finally, from her attempts to *murder* it, but otherwise okay. I am buying two more to have in reserve as my son threw the one we own one day and then we couldnt find it. There is no other toy that can replace this one, and, since at the time we didnt know what it was called, we couldnt find a new one to buy. We had a very sad dog on our hands!

Other frisbees were torn up in days, sometimes hours, plus the harder ones hurt her mouth. This is soft *and* virtually indestructible, a perfect combo. The price is good as well. If you have a frisbee-crazy dog like ours, you - and your dog - will love this toy.
Flying Cow Frisbee     On: 2007-01-19

My border collie absolutely loves these frisbees! I keep at least 3 put away at all times. He loves the soft texture so that when he catches it, it doesnt hurt his mouth.
My dog loves this toy and he hasn't destoyed it yet!     On: 2007-01-11

This is the perfect dog toy. I have a Chocolate lab that loves to play frisbee, but he kept destoying every frisbee that I bought for him. He loves this toy and you cannot even tell where hes had it in his mouth and weve had this toy for over two months! This is a great toy for chewers! Two paws up! :)
My dog hasn't destroyed it yet!     On: 2006-12-30

After several sessions of tug-of-war, a week or more of our dog playing fetch and carrying this around everywhere it goes, not one part of this frisbee is destroyed. I cannot say this for other cloth frisbees we have bought in the past. Our dog is a one-year old Lab/Border Collie mix, and he definitely has some chompers on him. A great purchase!

The Best     On: 2006-12-09

I have two australian cattle dogs and I have no cattle so this is there job. This is the best frisbee you can get. The only way I have had to replace them is because they get lost. My dogs cannot chew them up. They float, they can be washed and dried. I buy them whenever I see them because they ARE to good and Im affraid I wont be able to get them anymore. I have had several products from Bamboo....they are the best you can get for your money hands down. I almost didnt want to write this because more people will want them and thats less for me. LOL
The perfect dog toy     On: 2006-04-24

This could well be the perfect dog toy, especially if your dog is a Queensland Heeler with a knack for destroying plastic Frisbees, tennis balls, etc. in seconds flat. Ive had one for a couple of weeks now and, aside from some dirt spots, it looks new. It is an unheard of feat for a toy to make it this long when exposed to the not-so-tender mercies of my dogs attention. This disc is not only very durable, it actually flies really well. As something of a flying-disc connoisseur, I cant help but be impressed by how easy this is to throw and how far it carries. Plus, it floats. Perfect!

The Absolute Best Toy For Dogs Who Ruin Their Flippies (Frisbees) in 3 minutes or less.     On: 2006-02-05

I am a dog owner of a Belgian Malinois/German Shephers Mix and she(my dog Chloe) is very, very serious about her toys. She is able to chew up a soft or hard dog frisbee in minutes, and sometimes even seconds for the cheaply made ones. I bought this from Petco and thought I would give it a try and still have it today--about 6 months later. Chloe is 10 years old and I have never ever had a frisbee of hers for more than 2 weeks. Those can get rather expensive when you have to buy a new one weekly or even every other week.
This is the absolute best dog frisbee around and am happy they are for sale here. I did wash it once though in the washing machine and it didnt fly as far through the air but she still loved it and thats what matters most.
