Best Frisbee out there!     On: 2008-08-15

This is definitely the best dog Frisbee on the market. I just ordered our 4th one for our 8 year old black lab, whose day is not complete until she has worn herself out playing fetch. She prefers this Frisbee over any other retrieving toy. It does not fly like your typical Frisbee, but once you are used to it, you can get just as much distance out of it as you can with the hard plastic ones (although it is almost impossible to throw it straight). The paper label will not last more than 3 throws, but the Frisbee itself lasts for months and sometimes even years, as long as you dont let your dog chew on it.
Best frisbee I've found!!     On: 2008-01-08

I have bought almost every frisbee to play with my 100# lab, and he tends to chew them up quickly during resting time. The nylon ones with the rubber ring are great, but he grabs them by the middle, and within 1 or 2 playing sessions, they are just a ring. These kevlar ones arent toys, not meant to just sit and chew on (have those who left a negative review found one than can handle this?) I have 2 of these frisbees, and while it took a few throws to toss correctly, they are the only ones still standing out of 10 different brands. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, unless you plan on giving it to your dog to just chew on.
Not worth the money!     On: 2007-12-28

I bought this frisbee thinking it would last at least a few months. It was destroyed in less than 1 week!
bulletproof not dogproof     On: 2007-08-03

my lab tore this up the 1st day. he loves it, but its a bit flimsy. you cant use it if it is windy out.....it takes off to rooftops or just hits the ground.
Wont last with a pitbull     On: 2007-05-12

The frisbee was light and easy to throw. The only problem is my dog had it chewed up the very first day because the kevlar wasnt very strong.
Great product!     On: 2007-05-07

This is my 2nd kevlar frisbee...the only reason I needed a new one is because I left the old on out in the elements and after about 3 years it finally started cracking and got moldy. My 2 labs love to play tug with it and it holds up great!! And were talking about dogs who destroy Kong toys! Would highly recommend for those whose dogs are tough on their toys!
The Worst Ever     On: 2007-03-22

This really is one of the worst toys I have ever seen for a dog. The material is too thin. So it does not fly well at all. And kevlar [bullet proof jacket material] is not indestructible. Dogs can and will tear this up if left alone with it.

There are a lot better alternatives to this toy!
Great frisbee for dogs     On: 2007-03-22

This is the best, longest lasting frisbee Ive ever found for our border collie. He went through frisbees every 3 months before I found this one. It has lasted a year and I play with him almost every day. It is gentle on his mouth and it flies really well. Now if only it would stay afloat. It is just now cracking and spliting in the middle where he catches and bites into it on most catches. Great product!

Buyers Beware     On: 2006-12-15

I check with consumer guide with this product,(kevlar) which is what tires out of. They said a dog could choke if swallowed and choke to death.
A great frisbee, but dont allow your animal to chew on it.
4 out of 5 Dogs prefer the Kevlar Frisbee!     On: 2006-11-05

This is a great invention -- a frisbee that is easier on your dogs mouth and practically lasts forever. If youve tried using a regular hard frisbee or even one of the "nylabone" or "gumabone" dog frisbees, and your dog didnt seem to have a good time -- or youve noticed that your dogs mouth gets sores from chomping down to catch it, then this is the answer. Its got a layer of kevlar -- the stuff used in bulletproof vests -- in between two layers of rubber. Our dogs used to go through the typical dog frisbees in a matter of weeks, but these things last and last. It may take you a few throws to get used to it, but if your dogs are like our dogs, they will thank you for choosing it.
