More Information

Best Price     On: 2008-12-01

I already know the product works very well but I was looking for the best price. I found it here. Excellent value!
Great product!     On: 2008-11-23

I have three dobermans and live in the south which is infested with fleas and ticks. With this product I have had no infestations whatsoever.
Doesn't Kill Ticks     On: 2008-11-18

To begin with, I purchased this product from my vet, not from here.

I am always taking walks in the woods with my dogs. This year was a really bad tick year in my area, and my dogs were getting inundated with ticks. Id pull out whatever ticks I found and then figure, "Oh well, Frontline will take care of the ones I couldnt find".

I was wrong: even now, two weeks after our last walk in the woods, I am still finding very much alive, engorged ticks on my dogs. Bear in mind: I apply it every month, and one of the ticks that I found today was just in the spot where Frontline is applied!

You know what saved my dogs? The Lyme disease shot they received before all this happened!

Frontline may or may not work with fleas, that I dont know, but it certainly does not work with ticks. Anyone who lives in a tick-ridden area, dont rely on this product: get your dogs a Lyme disease shot instead.
Great Price on This!     On: 2008-11-16

Amazon has the best price weve found on this flea preventative. Cant go wrong with this deal.
Flea treatment     On: 2008-10-31

Im a bit disappointed, I treated my dog and my cats with their respective flea treatments, and they are still scratching! (I know it is fleas and not something else, since every once in a while I catch one of the little buggers!)
I recall that I treated my dog last year and it was more effective, but unfortunately I cant recall which product it was that I used...
Flea free forever     On: 2008-10-28

We have been using Frontline for our standard poodle, but have been buying it at the "pet supply store". We like the product a lot but felt it was quite expensive. On Amazon the product was, if memory serves, about 25% cheaper perdose. That makes Amazon shopping doubly worthwhile.
Frontline Plus, A minus for head ticks     On: 2008-10-27

Generally does a good job of keeping fleas & ticks off of the dogs body. However, I see ticks around the head. Its better not to let the dogs get wet for three days.
Great Protection     On: 2008-10-24

I have used this product for the last year on two of my dogs and I have had no issues with fleas/ticks.
Frontline Plus - Excellent Product!!!     On: 2008-10-13

Frontline Plus is an excellent product and very safe to use. I was first recommended this product by my vet which really made me feel alot more confident to have a professional and trusted opinion. My dogs are like my children and it is very important to me what I use on them and I feel very comfortable using this product. I also did alot of research on my own and found out that Frontline is the ONLY product that is safe to use on pregnant cats and dogs and also on puppies and kittens that are only a few days old. If anyone out there is wondering what to use on thier pets I would highly recommend Frontline Plus.
Keeps ticks and fleas at bay     On: 2008-10-05

Have used this product over several generations of Golden Retrievers and other long-haired dogs, living both in the Rocky Mountain area and in the mid-Atlantic rurals. This stuff works.

Frontline Plus Dog 45-88 Pounds, 6 Month

Frontline Plus is very effective on fleas and ticks when used once a month. I have been using the product for many years and will continue to use it.
Effective, but a bit expensive     On: 2008-09-30

Our 2 puppies got it this year and, as far as I can tell, they are bug-free so far. I cant say whether this is because of Frontline or because there are no fleas in surroundings but, until evidence to the contrary emerges, I will give Frontline the credit.

The makers claim that Frontline Plus kills all fleas and prevents re-infestation for up to one month. For paralysis tick protection, bi-weekly application is recommended but results are not guaranteed.

The product comes in a number of pipettes that contain an oily-sticky liquid that is applied on the back of the dogs necks, on the skin (must part the coat until the skin is visible). The makers recommend monthly applications.

I found it easy to treat the dogs. Given the relatively high price of this product, Ive been using one pipette for our 2 puppies. As they are now big, this may no longer be an option but I can see how this option could be a money saver for anyone who has 2 not so large dogs.

I am taking one star away because of the ridiculously high price.
the only way to go     On: 2008-09-09

Imagine my surprise when my best friend told me that her dog had fleas...my dog loves visiting her. And, yes, both my dog and cat got them. I have been treating both animals (and, yes, my rat), and my friends dog for almost a year and we havent seen any sign of fleas since. Flea eggs can encyst themselves and live in your carpet for many months, so treating for them is a long-term thing. I am very happy with Frontline Plus. The PLUS is very important because it also kills the eggs that the fleas lay. Very happy with this...and so are my animals. Cathy
Best product against fleas and ticks     On: 2008-09-03

Frontline plus is the best product for dogs against fleas and ticks. Very easy to apply. Ive been using it on my dog for a couple of years now and she has been free of any fleas or ticks (very critical since my dog is an in house dog).
frontline plus     On: 2008-08-30

for some reason this batch has not worked as well as those i get from the vet.
NO MORE FLEAS     On: 2008-08-14

This is an excellent product. I have 2 golden retrievers, & as soon as I saw that one of them had a few fleas, I knew the other would have them soon. I applied the Frontline Plus in the morning, & by that evening there were no more fleas. I highly recommend this product.
Frontline does not work!     On: 2008-08-14

We have 3 adult cats and one 50 lb golden Retriever. We used this frontline plus as directed and it is not working!
On-time, as advertised.     On: 2008-07-23

I received this product as advertised and in a timely manner. It came as two 3-month supply boxes instead of one 6-month supply box, but all boxes were sealed and well within expiration. I will definitely come back to this supplier for refills in 6 months!
Excellent value!     On: 2008-07-16

This is a great value. My dogs vet charges the same amount for half the doses. My pooch has zero fleas using this product.
Seems totally effective     On: 2008-07-14

I have used Frontline Plus on my golden for 3 months. Before this, she had two ticks. Since, none. No fleas, either. She is in tall grass and weeds almost daily in the hot summer of New England. I am satisfied and will purchase it from now on at Amazon rather than the vet, for sure. The only drawback I have seen is the direction to apply the whole vial of product to one place on the dog, and avoid getting it on the fur. Impossible. I do my best, but she always has a dark, wet patch afterwards for a couple of days and some drips down her side. I just wipe it off and hope for the best, which seems to be working.
Great for Water-Loving Dogs     On: 2008-07-14

Our Labrador Retriever puppy loves to swim... he also loves to get into stinky messes and needs frequent baths. Since Frontline is waterproof, I dont have to wonder if he has enough protection for the month, or how much product I should re-apply mid-month. One application once a month is enough to protect him from fleas and ticks. Even in the heat and humidity of a Texas summer.
Flea and Tick Free     On: 2008-07-08

My dog is a Chow mix and very furry. Ticks are impossible to find under her two layered coat until its too late. At first, I tried cheaper brands. They work on ticks but do nothing for fleas. Then my vet recommended Frontline. I later tried K9 Advantix since they claim to also kill mosquitos, but I didnt notice any difference with the little bloodsuckers. And the protection from K9 Advantix didnt seem to last as long so I switched back to Frontline.

Frontline works great for us. My dog is an outdoor dog and our county reportedly has more deer than people. And with deer come deer ticks. Ive seen deer in my back yard and my dogs house is very near the woods for shade. And she likes to take the occasional jaunt through the woods. Still I rarely find a tick on her. And when I do, theyre usually dead (or soon will be).

I wish Id known Amazon was selling Frontline for a better price sooner. Ive been purchasing only 3 months worth for about $50 from another site for the last 2 years. Very frustrating since before you know it, youre out. With 6 months worth I only have to remember 2 times a year instead of 4.
Great Price!     On: 2008-07-07

Great Product at a Great Price! Easy transaction and quick shipping make this a no brainer to make another purchase.
simply the best     On: 2008-06-30

Buyer Beware ... counterfeit products, product divergence ... who knows what you are getting?     On: 2008-06-29

Like many manufactures of veterinary medications and products, Merial, the manufacturer of Frontline Plus, has indicated that they only provide their product through veterinarians. Frontline Plus obtained from a source besides a veterinarian may be counterfeit or obtained through product divergence from other sources. If a manufacturer cannot track the distribution route of their product, they usually wont take responsibility for its lack of effectiveness or any complications associated with its use. Veterinarians help assure that these medications and products are used safely and that problems are addressed if necessary.

Just be careful when purchasing any medication from a non-veterinary source.

We have used this product in the past. I guess that fact that we are still using it speaks for itself!
Cheaper!!!     On: 2008-06-19

I must say after all these months of paying about $20 more for this product, I can now save some $$$...
I placed my order on a Wednesday & it arrived that Friday...Quick shipping!

Will definitely be ordering again!

Thanks!:-)
SEIZURES and $1000 VET BILL - DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!     On: 2008-06-12

Ive been using this product for eight years.
After using the one purchased over the internet,
my dog had two seizures within two hours and
two days of Diarrehea. After spending $1000
on emergency vet care, Ill stick to a flea collar!
Manufacturer of this product said I received counterfeit products.     On: 2008-06-10

I researched this product before I bought it through ebay.

I was disappointed when the items showed signs of counterfeiting.

I called the manufacturer of this product - Merial- to confirm these signs. I was told by several layers of customer service that Merial does NOT put an expiration date anywhere on the packaging of this product.

Merial stated that counterfeits of their products have expiration dates.

Merial sent me replacement packages of the genuine product after I mailed them the counterfeits. I had to pay for the mailing...$$.

BUYER BEWARE.
Side effects and reactions     On: 2008-06-08

Years ago I noticed that within minutes of applying it, my dog became lethargic and decidedly unwell. I reported it to my vet and he poo pooed the idea that dogs react adversely to Frontline. Well it happened a couple more times so I played safe and changed to another brand and surprise surprise, no side effects. Then recently, I did not have the other brand but had Frontline in my drawer and my dog was scratching like mad - so I applied it. Within minutes poor fella was acting strange - almost like a fit. I rushed him to the vet and saw a different one on duty. He confirmed that many people had reported their dogs reacting to Frontline. At least that made me feel I wasnt imagining things. So, all Im saying is, just as with human medication and side effects, if you notice your dog behaving strangely a short while after applying Frontline,(becoming quiet, lying in his bed for an abnormally long time, shaking his head as if he was trying to get rid of something in his ear, etc.)you might want to consider something else. No-one wants their dog to suffer.

My neighbour swears by Frontline - says she wouldnt be without it and her dog acts no different when it is applied.
Frontline Plus     On: 2008-05-22

I bought Frontline Plus for my dogs because what I had been using for fleas and ticks was not working very well. So far the Frontline product has been great. It works much better and the smell is not strong like the other product. I would recommend it for anyone who lives in the country or an area where dogs are constantly coming in contact with fleas and ticks.
Easy and simple even with two big dogs!     On: 2008-05-07

I have two boxers and my youngest is just over a year old. She is allergic to fleas and had a terrible reaction to them (she had to be on antibiotics for 6 weeks!) After the first application of Frontline Plus she quit scratching and is much happier. I like that you dont have to put it multiple spots on you pet. Squeeze the tube onto the skin between the shoulder blades and you are done. I also apply the Fronline a day or two before they are due for it again to make sure there is no lapse in coverage. The only downside about Frontline is that it doesnt protect against mosquitoes, if it did that it would be perfect. But overall Frontline is a fabulous product.
Better Price     On: 2008-05-06

Have always used these and get a little better price here at Amazon than at the vets. Good product!
Whata price!     On: 2008-04-27

Could not believe my eyes when I saw this Frontline Plus 6 pack listed for this price. From other online competitors, would have been at least $30 more for the exact same thing. Quick shipping, and expiration dates are 3 years away. Thumbs up!
Great Great     On: 2008-04-27

I ordered the Frontline on Friday and got it on Monday. I dont know how they did it. Excellent. Packaging was superb.
The Best!     On: 2008-04-24

Ive been using this product on my dogs for a few years now and they have NEVER had fleas :)
Excellent Product     On: 2008-04-18

We have a male Samoyed with a gorgeous, super dense, thick coat. He had fleas once and it was a nightmare! We started using the frontline and it is a wonderful product. Never saw another flea again! It is very easy to apply. My dog gets excited when he sees me pull the package out because he knows a treat is coming when I am done putting it on him!!! On the tick end...We have land in WV and in the spring and summer the ticks can get pretty bad. If we find a tick on him, it is either dead or just crawling on the tip of his fur. It will not dig down inside of his coat because the frontline kills it....and if we do happen to find one inside his fur, it is always dead! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to eliminate dealing with fleas or ticks. IT WORKS!!!!!
Great Product-Very Effective     On: 2008-04-15

After trying several other brands and having our dogs still itch continually, a friend recommended we try Frontline.
In just one month we noticed a remarkable difference, the constant scratching was gone.
We now only have to use it periodically, not every month.
What a blessing for us and a relief for our pets.
Great Flea & Tick Meds.     On: 2008-04-05

I love the quality of service and products available at great prices. I couldnt be happier.
Eradicates fleas without irritation     On: 2008-03-14

Very easy to apply, leaves no greasy residue or any odor, lasts the whole month, and does not irritate dogs skin, even on an elderly pet.
Real stuff     On: 2008-03-13

This is real Frontline in regular retail packaging. Registered EPA product and not immatation. Great price.
Comparison of Reviews     On: 2008-03-09

Ive used both, and to me the one that is least harmful to the animal is best. From the reviews, I see MANY more sick dog reviews from Advantix, around 30%. I see no such reports of sick dogs with Frontline.

Id like the mosquitto protection, but I have to rely on the heartworm pills.
Powerful     On: 2008-02-15

I have a Siberian husky (~65lbs) and a black lab (~65lbs) that picked up bad flea infestations when I moved into a new apartment. Treated them with pyrethrin based sprays and all the floors with the same for a week straight, with very little relief or results from it.

After comparing Frontline with Advantage, BioSpot, and a few other brands, I chose to use Frontline because of its proximity lethality for fleas - where the dogs go (corners they lay down in, anywhere they lay to chew bones, etc), the nearby fleas and flea eggs die, without having to hop aboard. The package says it kills fleas within 24 hours. My experience was about 24 hours for my Lab to be flea free, and about 48 hours for the husky. The husky had the worse infestation and the double coat makes for lots of warm hiding places for bugs as well as hinders the spread of any topical insecticide. This stuff still cut right through it through.

Apparently, Frontline also works well at killing spiders, or spiders food supply. Before applying it to the dogs, wed find several spiders every week, randomly crawling around the apartment. Since a little after the initial application, we havent found any. Kinda nice having two roving insect killers who dont even know it.
Good value! Good, good purchase.     On: 2007-12-26

If I get this stuff from my vet, I cant get it in these large packages and its TWICE as expensive. I checked around at other local pet supply places, same thing, almost 2xs as much per dose.

This is great because I only have to order twice a year, it comes right to my door, and I save a lot of money.

As far as this product, I buy the cat and dog versions for my pets, it works great and doesnt seem to have any ill effects. In the winter my dog needs it about every 6-7 weeks, the cats only need it about every 10-12 weeks. In the summer my dog needs it every 4 weeks, cats every 6-8. Ticks LOVE my dog, and this stuff really keeps them away. Good stuff, good purchase, good price.
Frontline Plus...it works     On: 2007-11-12

Twelve years and three dogs and Frontline Plus never failed. All my dogs were flea ant tick free. I have lived in Florida with a sandy yard and lots of fleas--husky shepherd remained flea/tick free. I moved to an area of Maryland that backs to a creek, low-lying swamp wetlands, and is wooded. There are more deer than people and lots of other wildlife. None of my dogs ever had fleas or ticks. We take the dogs hiking in woods--no fleas or ticks. I love this product. Its especially nice that you can bathe the animal and not worry about the product losing its effectiveness. Unfortunately, some people apply the product infrequently in an effort to save money, or they apply it only when the dog shows signs of fleas or ticks. I know a person that only uses it in the warm months and stops it in the winter. These folks then say why didnt the product work? The product has to be used as directed--a once a month application. Buy it youll like and your dog will love you more!
Hard to get excited     On: 2007-11-01

My dog got a tick at the end of the month cycle. It is hard to state if my application was less then perfect or stuff just evaporates at the end of the cycle. At least there are no allergies noted so far.
Protect your pet and your family.     On: 2007-10-10

I have used Advantix and Front line plus, I belvie I have better results with Front LIne PLus. We have 4 large indoor dogs and no flea or tick problems to report. IF you follw the directions, front line will work for at least two months.
Simply works.     On: 2007-08-23

We had been attempting to rid our Golden Retriever of fleas for about two months and couldnt find a product that would work for us. We were trying to find something inexpensive to help us. We bathed with different shampoo products, we used different flea collars, but nothing seemed to work. Finally I reached my limit and Im sure the dog did also, she was scratching day in and day out, so I purchased the Frontline on here from a marketplace seller. Once applied it did take about a week to notice big results; but it worked. It has worked great, were about a month out and she hasnt shown any symptoms of having fleas again. Of course you have to do your diligence and continue to bathe and brush your dog but this will take care of the problem.
There shouldn't be any other products claiming to do what this one actually DOES     On: 2007-08-01

We tried multiple products on our ~40 pound chow. Some were sprays, some were pills, none of them ever worked. Please believe me - DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANYTHING ELSE. I will not say its the best product to kill the fleas your dogs suffering from, this is the only product that will do so. Apart from the itch our dog was suffering, it quickly developed some kind of allergy to the flea bites which caused drastic fur loss. I was kinda uneasy with the way I applied the product since our dogs fur is very long and it got on the way so I was ready to repeat the procedure in few days, but within 24 hours she was as good as new. No compulsive scratching and biting. A week later her fur was back to normal and all the hairless spots caused by the allergy are filling in great. Very pleased with Frontline.
Itchy Dogs     On: 2007-05-14

Ive used Frontline before and was very pleased. My dogs and I go to the park a lot and of course the fleas get a piggy back ride to our home. I bought Frontline after watching the dogs itch like crazy and the product was delivered earlier than expected so that was nice for the dogs.

However, I heard that Advantage has an ingredient that prevents fleas from hitching a ride. So, I might try that next time.
The best     On: 2007-04-20

If you have a flea problem dont waste your money on collars, soap and other products you will be disappointed with, just get Frontline. This stuff really works, incredibly well. One time to try to save money we tried a similar product that had a citrus smell to it but the product did not completely control the fleas. We went back to Frontline and have faithfully stayed with it because it works. I highly recommend Frontline to any pet owner who wants to completely forget about flea problems. I use this on my Doberman. She stays in our house and thanks to Frontline we have no worry of fleas.

Came on time, as advertised, would use this seller again

A must have!     On: 2007-03-22

This is by far the best flea and tick prevention that Ive used. One dose will last my dog at least 2 months even when the fleas and ticks are at their worst.

Frontline     On: 2007-01-18

The product is very effective on fleas when used once a month. It is less effective on ticks after three weeks so you should check your dog carefully if ticks are active in your area. We have used product fo over 6 years with our 70 lb lab and will continue to use it.
Love it     On: 2006-07-25

I have had my dog on frontline plus since she was old enough. Once i missed a dose and she was covered in fleas. As soon as i put the frontline on she was rid of them in 2 to 3 days. I could not reccomend this product more.
This product is not working.     On: 2006-05-26

I bought this product for my dog. I have not seen any improvement in her flea problem. I called the company and got nowhere. I even suggested that maybe I had just gotten a bad batch of the product. They continue to say that I have to use the product for 3 months before they will give me my money back. I took my dog to the vet today and they even confirmed that my dear dog is covered in fleas. I will never ever use their product again with such an uncaring company policy. I believe that my dog does deserve better. By the way yes I have followed all the direction on the box and even treated my yard for fleas.

The product does what it claims to do     On: 2006-05-01

Gone are the old days when I would spend over $100 for multiple products claiming to get my pets rid of fleas with little to no result. Remember the frustration? I am highly sensitive to fleabites, so I got pretty angry that there is an array of products on the market out there just NOT doing what they claim. Never buy Hartz products for your pets by the way, these are harmful, especially to cats!

Then, I found Frontline for both my dog and cat and started using it religiously, every month (1 single dose/month), from spring to autumn. ALL the fleas were gone. I didnt have to use any other product to back this one up. It works, and fast. Do something good for your pets. Buy this product! The doses are expensive but well worth it. Nothing else works like it.

Best Deal     On: 2005-07-10

We love frontline plus! Our dog had a bad case of fleas d/t our move out to WA. We are renting a place that was seriously infested. She is slowly improving. The vet suggested that we apply it every 2 weeks until the problem is resolved and to keep her out of the water eventhough it states that it is waterproof. The vet also suggested that we avoid toughing her because it interfers with the action of the product. All of this info helped us and maybe can help others with a flea problem. This was the best deal we found!

Frontline Plus is the best way to keep fleas and ticks off your dog. It is applied once per month in about 3 minutes. It seems to have little or no side effects on the dog. It has been used for many years on dogs without problems. I checked all products and asked various vets and everyone agrees that Frontline Plus is the best way to keep ticks and fleas off your dog. The Plus even kills the flea eggs.
