On: 2008-11-10Our dog (and house and us) had fleas pretty bad before we figured out what was going on. Frontline was a huge help in getting rid of them!! Love this product! On: 2008-10-31This is the only product that consistenly controls fleas on our dog. We tried the new K9 Advantix stuff and she got fleas. We havent had fleas for 10 years using the Frontline. On: 2008-07-25Frontline Plus is a great product. I use it for my 6 year old pug. No fleas or tick problems and no adverse effects seen from use. I really would not use anything else. This is the best stuff for my dogs, and they appreciate it when they are free of fleas and ticks! Some of the other brands just do not work, such as those you would find at a "big box store". Though Frontline boasts being waterproof, it seems the dosage weakens if I bathe the dog again at some point after application of the medicine (days later). Suffice it to say, spending money on doses that are advertised supposed to last a month at a time and hardly cover a couple of weeks does not seem worth it. My dog is a longer haired breed (kind of a spaniel mix, from the pound) and we are active, dog park, walking trails (not quite hiking, Mommys not that fit lol) etc and she sleeps in my bed and so far, no fleas. I highly recommend this product. Apparently it doesnt work with ticks as much? We walk in forests but shes on-leash, on the trail and not in the brush so I cant say whether weve had tick encounters or not. When I find them on my dogs they are always dry and dead thanks to Frontline Plus. Fleas? A bit pricey but my dog is worth it. Making Owning Dogs Easier On: 2006-11-06Frontline PLUS works exceptionally well for the control of fleas and ticks on my animals. My family has used this product for a long time and found it to be completely effective, even in the most difficult circumstances. We live on land and have four dogs. Using this product as directed has eliminated pests from my animals and has kept them away. There are rabbits, deer, moles (unfortunately), possum, raccoon, and various other "criters" that come on my property every day. We have had flea problems in the past, but with this product we have eliminated any sign of these parasites. Our dogs are part of our family and are treated well. This product has never hurt any of the animals (I use Frontline PLUS for cats on my felines). This product does a superior job of the treatment of my animals. It is also the easiest product to use for flea and tick treatment. The best solution to your flea/tick problem! On: 2006-07-20I live on Guam where it is very hot and humid all year round, so you can imagine the problem with the little monsters we have searching for our pets. When I first adopted my dog from the shelter, had literally had hundreds of ticks all over his body. Within a month, he was tick free and has been ever since. If this worked on my once neglected pup, it will work on any dog! |
