Don't waste your money     On: 2008-09-15

We are dog show people and purchased three of these pens to use next to our RV at dog shows. They are great for allowing a little breeze to flow through while blocking the sun. We have had them for several years and used them perhaps twenty times. We were very happy until this weekend when at least 10 of the plastic connectors broke as we were setting up. As the units will no longer stand up the entire pen was rendered worthless. Three hundred dollars wasted. After this experience I would strongly recommend you save your money and avoid buying the General Cage Its a breeze exercise pen.
Nice for adult dog but not puppy     On: 2005-07-26

Its a nice item, for an adult dog that is a lesst 15 pounds. I am a breeder and I bought this for my female dogs to use with their puppies once they start moving around and need more space to play and potty etc. However, for some reason - I cant figure out -it doesnt set level to the ground. Every other section is elevated about 2-3 inches and leaves a gap so the puppies & one of my smaller adult females can easily escape right through these spaces. Im really disapointed with that. Also it didnt come with any instructions or any papers at all. The playpen itself is a no brainer - you just lift it out of the box and shape it into a square or a hexagon, its already together, but if you order a top or a bottom you have to figure out wich way to face it and how to attach it. Its not terribly hard, you just might have to try it one way and its not the right way, flip the whole thing over and try again. Its just simply annoying. I may not be keeping it, because I dont see a way for it to fulfill its purpose here. If you are looking for a place to keep a medium size dog and up in around the house for a while so it has some room to move around, or you need to house them outside for camping or something like that then I would think its a great product. It is well made, just smaller dogs can get through the bottom and I think they should tell you that it isnt level before you buy it!
