  Wellness Just For Puppy Dry Dog Food (30-lb bag) By: Wellness Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 5 More Information Wellness puppy food  On: 2008-11-03My boston terrier/english bulldog puppys coat became shiny on this food, his breath smelled good, his gas wasnt stinky, and the food appears to have excellent ingredients. However, after over a month of eating Wellness, his stool never became firm (which it was on whatever cheap food he was eating at the breeders). It alternated between runny and mushy. Id read similar reviews on various websites, but decided to try it anyway (everyones experiences are different). Although I have no way of knowing this, I wonder if some of the fancier dogfoods overdo it with the flax and greentea---it would certainly give me the runs. Anyway, I think its a good food and may work well for some dogs, but weve had to transition off of it to Merrick puppy plate, which, although it has similar ingredients, seems to be firming up the poop. wellness  On: 2008-09-30My yorkie loves this food. On: 2007-04-09I recently received a sample of this in the mail. My puppy thinks its a treat rather than "just" food. While she was eating this food the cat came over and this was the first time the puppy ever snapped at her! Shes never been defensive over her toys, food, or treats before, but she did not want to share this. Wonderful all natural food! On: 2005-11-22This puppy food is excellent! It is very high quality. The price is a bit higher than even some of the other super premium dog foods but its well worth it! |
