On: 2008-11-06I always try to read the reviews before I make a purchase. In this case...Im afraid to think of how bad the flea infestions were in some of these houses. Happily...I must not have too many because I nothing on my sticky paper. I was disappointed in the "UV" light source because that bulb looked like it would fit an old fashion night light. I was not impressed with this product in the least bit. It works!  On: 2008-10-21We did the soap & water in a shallow pan with a candle in the middle and it works too! But with the traps, you can count them easily... It truly works! stuck on flea capture pads  On: 2007-12-29These are very sticky and we caught all sorts of critters on them. Very effective at catching fleas, flea droppings, flea eggs, and we even caught an ant. Flea Trap Is Helpful  On: 2007-10-31At first I didnt see but one flea on the trap so I decided I may have chose a poor location. I moved it closer to wear my dogs sleep at night and it appears to be working. The trap has gotten pretty full in a matter of days and not only caught fleas but mosquitos and other tiny flying creatures I was unaware flew in. Its not the only solution to having a flew problem but its been a big help to me. You will still need to use a flea comb and comb your pets every day or other day out doors, and youll still need to treat your yard due to other animals coming around. I put "Dawn" dish soap in a bowl with water and dip the comb in between combing my pets. The ones I dont get with the comb the flea trap seems to get, so I think I have this whole flea situation under control now. I would recommend this product at helping to get rid of fleas. This is a great way to kill fleas - it works much better than sprays and bombs with no stink!! (the clean up is a little disgusting but much better than having bad smells in your house for days.
